Scripture Before Scroll vs Bible Shield

Scripture Before Scroll blocks your social apps until you've read the Bible. No more mindless scrolling before you've spent time with God. HABIT GATE — THE CORE FEATURE Block Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and more using Apple's Screen Time. Your blocked apps stay locked until you complete your daily scripture reading. Finish your habit, unlock your feed. BUILD A DAILY HABIT Choose your reading style — a daily verse, a full chapter, or scripture memorization. Track your streak and stay consistent with morning reminders. GO DEEPER Test your Bible knowledge with trivia at beginner, intermediate, and expert levels. Challenge family and friends with Family Game mode. SIMPLE AND PRIVATE No ads. No data selling. Your reading history and journal stay on your device — never shared, never transmitted. Read first. Then scroll.

Your phone is the thing standing between you and the life you meant to live with God. Bible Shield puts something in the way. Pick the apps that pull you away. Choose when they should lock. When that time comes, they close — and they stay closed until you pray. HOW IT WORKS 1. Choose your apps. Instagram, TikTok, X, whatever takes your evenings. 2. Choose your times. As many as you like, every day. 3. Pray to unlock. A short guided prayer, written for what you are actually carrying that day. Then your apps come back. It is not a timer you can dismiss and it is not a lecture. It is a door with a prayer for a key. A PRAYER THAT FITS THE DAY Tell it how you are doing and it writes you a prayer for that — grief, gratitude, anxiety, a hard conversation coming. Choose your denomination during setup and the language follows it. Every prayer arrives with scripture, so you are never praying away from the Word. THE WHOLE BIBLE, BUILT FOR READING Multiple translations. Search across every verse. Highlights, notes, and cross-references. Your place is kept, your progress is tracked, and a verse finds you every morning whether or not you open the app. PRAY WITH OTHER PEOPLE A prayer wall where you can ask for prayer and pray for someone else by name. Live rooms when you do not want to be alone with it. Mark a request answered and tell people what happened — that is the part nobody expects to matter and it always does. WATCH IT ADD UP A streak for the days you showed up. A record of the hours you took back. Not to gamify your faith — to show you that it is happening, on the mornings it does not feel like it is. Bible Shield is not about using your phone less. It is about what you do with the minute you just got back. — — — Bible Shield Premium unlocks unlimited guided prayers and the full library.
