Sift turns the world's best nonfiction into clear, thread-style reads you can finish in a few minutes, so the time you'd normally spend scrolling actually leaves you with something. Instead of fighting your phone habits, Sift works with them. Open the app like you'd open any feed, and read the key ideas from a great book in the time it takes to scroll past a dozen posts. And when you need a push, Sift can lock your most distracting apps until you've hit your reading goal. WHY READERS LOVE SIFT Read in minutes, not hours. Every book is distilled into a focused, easy-to-read thread you can finish in 5 to 10 minutes. Built like a feed, made for depth. A familiar, scrollable experience that finally points your attention somewhere worthwhile. Read first, scroll later. Turn on Reading Lock to block your most distracting apps until you've hit your daily reading goal. Your willpower, on autopilot. Keep what matters. Highlight and save the lines and ideas you want to remember, neatly organized by book. See real progress. Set a daily reading goal, build a streak, and watch your knowledge add up week after week. Find your next read. Browse by topic, search any title or author, and request the books you want covered. Reminders that respect you. Pick the times you read best and get gentle nudges that build the habit, never guilt. HOW IT WORKS Tell Sift what you're curious about and set a daily goal. Open the app whenever you'd reach for a feed, or let Reading Lock nudge you there by pausing your other apps. Read a thread, save the best parts, and keep your streak going. WHO IT'S FOR Sift is for curious people who want to read more but can never seem to find the time. If you'd rather walk away from your screen a little sharper, this is for you. Whether you love psychology, business, philosophy, productivity, or history, there's always something worth reading. Same habit. A better result. About

Speak Shakespeare

Features

Read one of Shakespeare's sonnets aloud and see which words you pronounced correctly and which ones need another try. Speak Shakespeare is an English pronunciation trainer built like a language lab around Shakespeare's 154 sonnets. First, listen to the narrator read a line. Then read it aloud yourself. The app listens to your voice and shows whether each word was pronounced correctly, almost correctly, or incorrectly. You can then play back your recording and compare it with the narrator's. HOW CAN I CHECK IF MY PRONUNCIATION IS CORRECT? Is there an AI tool that can check my pronunciation? This is one: AI speech recognition gives every word you read its own verdict, so you know exactly which word to work on. A line counts only when every word in it is pronounced correctly: almost correct is not enough. You can also listen to your recording and the narrator's to hear the difference for yourself. SHADOWING ON A REAL TEXT Shadowing means listening to a voice and repeating after it. Every sonnet has a narrator's reading, so you can start right away. AT YOUR OWN PACE Work line by line or stanza by stanza. You can retry a line with no penalty for mistakes. Your score shows how much material you have mastered, not the time you spent or the number of attempts. Comparing your results with other readers is up to you. WHO IT IS FOR English learners who want to practice pronunciation with a complete text instead of isolated drills. Readers who want to hear Shakespeare's sonnets and read them aloud themselves. People who already practice shadowing and want a steady text with a reference reading for every sonnet. THE SONNETS All 154 of Shakespeare's sonnets, each with audio of a narrator's reference reading. Some sonnets are available from the start. A one-time purchase unlocks the rest permanently, with no subscription. The app's interface is available in English, Arabic, Chinese (Traditional), French, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Turkish.
