Memorize vs Just Remember

Make your own vocabulary flashcards in seconds, then let spaced repetition decide when you see them again. VocabFlash sorts every card into one of five Leitner boxes: miss a word and it returns tomorrow, answer it right and it steps back — 1, 3, 7, 14, then 30 days. That is how words move from "seen once" to remembered for good. No accounts, no classes, no social feed. Just your words, a clean card flip, and a schedule that does the remembering for you. Every grading button tells you exactly what happens next — "Move to Box 2 · review in 3 days" — so you always know where a word stands. WHAT YOU GET • A Daily Review queue holding exactly the cards due today — a focused few-minute session instead of an hour of cramming • Five Leitner boxes with real intervals (1, 3, 7, 14 and 30 days), so hard words come back fast and mastered words step aside • Your own decks of front/back cards — type them in, or paste a comma-separated list and import a whole deck at once • Ready-made starter decks (Business English, Spanish travel phrases, everyday German and more) you can add with one tap • A streak and a 30-day history chart built only from your real reviews, plus a mastery map showing how many cards sit in each box • A daily reminder at the time you choose, so review day never silently slips past PERFECT FOR • Language learners moving new words from a textbook into long-term memory • Students drilling vocabulary for IELTS, GRE, TOEFL or school exams • Professionals memorizing industry terms in a second language • Anyone who keeps forgetting the same words and wants a system, not willpower WHY NOT JUST A LIST IN YOUR NOTES APP? A list shows you everything, every time — you re-read the words you already know and skim past the ones you don't. Leitner boxes flip that: missed words return tomorrow, known words retreat toward next month. Ten well-timed cards a day beat a hundred re-read lines. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Your decks, cards and study history live on your iPhone. No account, no sign-up, no upload. Export any deck to CSV whenever you want — your words are yours. FULL ACCESS VocabFlash requires Full Access, available as a weekly subscription, a yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Full Access covers everything: unlimited decks, Leitner spaced-repetition scheduling, daily reminders, CSV import and export, and progress insights. Start tonight: add ten words you keep forgetting, and let the boxes take it from there. Study from the notes you already have. Take or import a photo, cover the answers, then tap each cover to check what you recalled. Just Remember also keeps your own text flashcards, and image cards with a photo on the front and the answer on the back. COVER A PHOTO, CHECK ONE ANSWER AT A TIME Brush freehand or draw rectangles over a page. Each cover shows its number in the middle. Tap one to reveal its answer, reveal them all, or hide them again. MAKE YOUR OWN QUESTION-AND-ANSWER SETS Type pairs in two columns, read a photo of a word list, paste a list or import a CSV file. Study as a list or one card at a time, choose which side to show, and use saved or shuffled order. IMAGE CARDS Photograph the front, type an answer or add a photo for the back, then flip through the cards full screen. KEEP IT ORGANIZED Sheets, Pairs and Images each have their own tab and folders. Name a folder at the end, or skip it and a name is chosen for you. The ? button on the home screen shows a working sample of each kind. SEE WHAT YOU REVIEWED Records show the distinct answers opened and when you last reviewed each material. Revealing an answer does not mean it was correct or mastered. USE SAVED MATERIALS OFFLINE Materials that have finished saving in the app can be studied without an internet connection. Purchases, purchase restoration and ads may need a connection. FREE AND PRO Free: keep up to 200 each of photo sheets, text pairs and image cards, and 20 folders. On the free plan, ads appear between your folders once you have four or more. Saved materials remain available to study and edit even above the free limit. Pro removes ads and all of these limits. Monthly and one-time purchase options are supported; see the purchase screen for available plans and current terms.
