PREMIUM โ€” PURCHASE REQUIRED: All features described below are part of Pro and require a purchase: a weekly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Pour Over Coffee Timer walks you through every phase of a pour-over brew โ€” bloom, pulse pours and drawdown โ€” with the exact water grams and timing for each step. Pick V60, Kalita Wave, Chemex or AeroPress, press start, and pour when the ring tells you to. Every recipe uses the coffee-to-water ratio each brewer's manufacturer actually publishes โ€” 1:16.7 for Hario V60, 1:16 for Kalita Wave and Chemex, 1:13.5 for the inverted AeroPress โ€” stated as ratios so they scale honestly to any dose. And the app is straight with you about what a timer can and cannot fix: the built-in brew guide names the six variables that really move the cup (grind size, water temperature, bean freshness, filter, agitation, altitude) and gives you a calibrate-once procedure instead of pretending one schedule suits every bean. WHAT YOU GET โ€ข A brew that runs itself: each phase shows its target grams and a pour hint, taps a countdown haptic in the last 3 seconds so you can lift the kettle without looking, and cues you the moment the next pour starts โ€ข Manufacturer-accurate recipes for Hario V60, Kalita Wave, Chemex and AeroPress โ€” published ratios, not guesses โ€ข Scale any recipe to your dose: set 22 g instead of 15 g and every pour target moves with the ratio, while phase times honestly stay put โ€” brew time is set by grind, not dose โ€ข Build your own pour schedules step by step: bloom length, pulse count, grams per pour โ€ข A brew log that records what actually happened โ€” beans, water, how long the timer really ran, your star rating and tasting notes โ€ข A timer you cannot break: the screen stays awake mid-pour, the brew keeps running if you leave the screen, and a notification still fires with your phone face-down next to the scale PERFECT FOR โ€ข Home brewers who want Tuesday's V60 to taste like Saturday's โ€ข Anyone who just bought a gooseneck kettle and a scale and needs to know what to actually do with them โ€ข AeroPress owners who want the inverted method timed instead of guessed โ€ข Coffee people dialing in a new bag and keeping notes on what worked WHY NOT JUST USE A KITCHEN TIMER? A kitchen timer tells you when three minutes are up. It does not tell you that at 0:30 the bloom ends and 60 g of water should already be in the bed, or that a Chemex drawdown needs a full extra minute. Pour-over is a schedule of pours, not one countdown โ€” this app runs the schedule for you. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Your brew log lives on your device. No account, no ads, no tracking, and nothing leaves your phone. PREMIUM (PURCHASE REQUIRED) Full access unlocks the complete recipe set (Kalita Wave, Chemex and AeroPress), the custom recipe builder and the dose scaler. Pick the plan that suits you: a weekly subscription, a yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Grind your beans, tap start, and pour the best cup you've made all week โ€” today. ShotPulled

Free. No feed, no streaks, no subscription. ShotPulled is a dialing companion for espresso. You tell it how the shot tasted; it tells you the one thing to change next, and why. TASTE FIRST, NOT NUMBERS FIRST A shot that runs 18g in, 41g out in 22 seconds is not automatically wrong โ€” it depends on the coffee, the roast, and how old the bag is. ShotPulled starts from what you tasted. Sour, bitter, harsh, thin, hollow, ashy, or the puck choked and sprayed. From there the engine ranks what is most likely causing it, tells you how confident it is, and recommends a single change. One variable per shot. Grind, or yield, or temperature, or prep โ€” never two at once, because two changes and neither of them is measurable. IT KNOWS YOUR GRINDER Collars differ. Some count clicks, some have numbered marks, some use compound rings like 1.2.2, some just say "fine" and "coarse". ShotPulled ships a catalog of 67 grinders, 124 machines and 17 scales, every entry checked against the manufacturer's own manual, so "go two clicks finer" means two clicks on the grinder in front of you. It will not quote you micron numbers. Burr sets are not comparable that way, and a number invents a precision that does not exist. A CLEAN MOVES THE DIAL, AND THE APP KNOWS IT Take a hand grinder apart to clean the burrs and the collar goes back on wherever it lands. Every recipe you locked before that describes a burr gap the same number no longer means. ShotPulled logs the clean and reads your locked recipes through it. Pull one shot at the old setting and it works the offset out from the flow; or count the clicks yourself as you put the grinder back together. Either way it tells you what your old 1.2.2 is today, and it never rewrites what you actually logged. If nobody measured, it says so and shows no corrected number at all. Unmeasured is a state, not a zero, and an honest blank beats a confident wrong figure. It also tells you when the next clean is due, counted three ways: days, shots, and the grams that have gone through the burrs. FRESHNESS THAT MEANS SOMETHING Every bag gets a peak window with a track showing where today sits on it, the day the window opens and the day it closes. Freeze a bag and the clock stops โ€” the days in the freezer are excluded from its age, so a bag frozen on day 6 is still on day 6 when you thaw it. YOUR SCALE, IF IT SPEAKS BLUETOOTH Weigh the dose in, weigh the shot out, and the numbers fill themselves. Scales with their own clock send the time along with the yield; the rest get a timer the app runs. Either way it never starts itself, and manual entry is always there. Supported: Bookoo, Decent, DiFluid, Felicita, Timemore and Varia. THE SAME BREWS IN YOUR AI CHAT ShotPulled is also an MCP server. Connect it to ChatGPT or Claude and dial in by talking โ€” "my last shot was sour, what should I change?" โ€” reading and writing the same coffees, shots, equipment and recipes you see in the app. One account, three places: iPhone, web dashboard, AI chat. WHAT ELSE IT KEEPS - Every shot, with the grind setting, the ratio, the flow rate and what you tasted - Locked recipes: a shot you liked, saved as the reference for that bean, grinder and machine - How much coffee is left in the bag, and roughly how many shots that is - Your grinders, machines, waters and scales, with the programs on each machine - A running record of what you were told to change and whether it worked - When the burrs were last cleaned, and what that clean did to your dial reference FOR PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY PULL SHOTS There is no feed, no streak, no badge. It does not gamify your coffee. It is a bench tool that answers one question well: what do I change next, and why. ShotPulled needs an account, and works with any espresso machine and grinder โ€” the equipment catalog is a convenience, not a requirement. You can register anything by hand. It is a deterministic rulebook, not an AI guessing โ€” you can read the rule behind every recommendation.
