Speed Reader vs FlashRead

Read a book a week. Without trying harder. Speed Reader uses RSVP — one word at a time, right where your eyes already focus. No scanning, no skimming. Just the words, at the pace you set. Most people double their reading speed in the first session. How it works Each word appears at its Optimal Recognition Point — the exact letter your brain locks onto first. Your eyes stop moving. Your comprehension stays sharp. You just read. Start simple, go deep Paste an article. Drop in a URL. Import an EPUB or PDF. Speed Reader strips everything else and gives you the text. Nothing to configure. Open the app, hit play. Built around your habit Your streak, your daily word count, your pace — all tracked automatically. The 7-day bar chart on the home screen shows exactly where you showed up and where you didn't. No guilt, just data. One price. Yours forever. No subscription. Unlock the full library, file imports, and every theme for a single one-time purchase. Pay once, read forever. FlashRead helps you read books dramatically faster with less effort, not more. Instead of moving your eyes across line after line, FlashRead shows your book one word at a time, always in exactly the same spot. One letter is highlighted in red: the optimal recognition point. Keep your eyes on it and the words simply flow into your mind. No eye movement, no losing your line, no drifting attention. HOW IT WORKS • Open any PDF or text file. It's ready in seconds • Press play and read at your own pace, from a relaxed 100 up to 900 words per minute • Smart pacing gives you extra time at commas, sentence ends and long words, so fast never feels rushed • Tap anywhere to pause, scrub the progress bar to jump around PICK UP WHERE YOU LEFT OFF Every book you start is saved automatically. Your home screen shows your library with reading progress, and one tap resumes exactly at the word where you stopped. PRIVATE BY DESIGN FlashRead has no accounts, no ads, no tracking and no servers. Your books and your reading history never leave your device. Whether it's that novel you never find time for, study material, or the report you have to get through. Load it into FlashRead and be surprised how fast reading can feel.
