RouteStop — Automatically log your life's journeys Ever wondered where you went today, how long you sat in that coffee shop, or what your week actually looked like on a map? RouteStop records the answers for you, automatically. RouteStop is an automatic travel log that maps your daily routes and tracks exactly where and how long you stopped — with no manual input at all. AUTOMATIC JOURNEY LOGGING • Route mapping — runs quietly in the background and draws your real movement on a clear map • Smart stop detection — recognises when you stop, names the place, and times your stay to the minute • Intuitive timeline — your whole day as a vertical timeline, clearly split into Moving and Stopped • Travel history — tap any past date in the calendar to replay that day's map and timeline • Detailed stats — distance, places visited and time on the move, by week or month WORKOUTS • Record a walk, run or ride with one tap • Live pace, distance, moving time and elevation while you go • Auto-pause when you stop at a light, resumes the moment you move again • Kilometre splits, calories and a full route map when you finish GOALS & INSIGHTS • Set targets for distance, moving time, sessions or daily steps • Keep a daily streak going • Charts by week, month and year • A personal heatmap of the streets you travel most SHARE • Turn any workout or day into an image • Put your route over your own photo and share it anywhere YOUR LOCATION DATA STAYS ON YOUR PHONE • Every route, stop and timeline is stored only in your device's local storage • We never upload your location history, and never sell or share it • Privacy zones let you hide your home or office from any shared image • Advertising and purchases use the network; your movement history never does PREMIUM (OPTIONAL) RouteStop is free with ads. RouteStop Premium removes all ads — $1.99 per month or $5.99 per year. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID Account Settings. IMPORTANT RouteStop needs "Always Allow" location access to record your routes when the screen is off or the app is closed. Continuous background GPS affects battery life; RouteStop uses distance filtering and adjustable accuracy modes to keep the cost as low as possible. Commutre logs your daily commute automatically — detecting each leg of your journey whether you're walking, on the bus, train, ferry or cycling. AUTOMATIC TRIP RECORDING Tap a destination (Home, Work or any saved place) and Commutre starts recording. A geofence around your destination ends the trip the moment you arrive — no need to remember to tap Stop. Or enable Auto-Start: set your commute schedule and Commutre begins recording automatically when you leave home or work during your commute window. MULTI-MODAL AWARENESS Commutre uses your iPhone's motion sensors and GPS to distinguish walking, cycling, vehicle (bus, car, ride-share), train, and ferry — all within a single trip. Each stretch is recorded as a separate leg with its own duration, distance, and speed profile. DETAILED TRIP HISTORY Every trip is a tap away in the History tab: an interactive map of your route, a GPS speed chart, and a breakdown of each leg. Tap a leg to correct a misidentified mode or add a route number. COMMUTE ANALYSIS See patterns across your commute history: average trip time, time by transport mode, duration by day of week, and a trend chart. Use the 7-day, 30-day, 90-day or All-Time picker to focus on the window you care about. WAYPOINTS Stops between legs — a bus interchange, a platform transfer — are captured as numbered waypoints with street-level names. The map pins your path from door to door. COMMUTRE PRO Unlock your full commute history and in-depth analysis with a one-time purchase. Free users see their most recent trips; Pro unlocks everything. PRIVACY FIRST Location data stays on your device. No analytics, no advertising, no third-party servers.
