Volta is a running app built around the music — with three ways to run. LET IT DJ — during the run, Volta cues each next track to how you're actually moving. PLAN IT — before you go, Volta builds a playlist matched to your target pace and cadence. JUST PRESS PLAY — run to your own music, and Volta maps it for you. Whichever you choose, your route and your listening land on one timeline afterward — so you can see exactly what every song did to your pace. MUSIC THAT READS YOUR BODY In Match My Vibe mode, Volta watches how you're moving and picks the next song to match. Want to steer? Tap Hype to push the energy up, or Cool to bring it down — anytime. PLAN THE PLAYLIST BEFORE YOU GO Set your target pace, distance, and energy curve, and Volta builds a playlist shaped for that exact run. See every track's BPM before you start, and swap or reorder anything until it's yours. EVERY SONG, SHOWN ON THE MAP Your route, colored by pace and split by track. Tap any segment to see what was playing and how fast you were moving there. THE SONG THAT MADE YOU FASTEST After every run, Volta surfaces your Power Track — the one song you ran fastest to, with your pace on it and how far above your average it pushed you. YOUR SONGS, RANKED BY WHAT THEY DO FOR YOU Your whole library, sorted by the pace you actually ran to each track. Filter by month, sort by pace, and find the songs that reliably deliver — so your next playlist is built on what works. KNOW WHEN YOU HIT FLOW When your steps per minute lock to the beat, running feels easier. Volta shows you which tracks matched your stride and which didn't — so you learn what carries you. SHARE IT Turn any run into a clean, shareable image — your route, your top tracks, your pace — ready for your camera roll or your feed. Volta works with Apple Music and Apple Health.
