Meditation Tracker
Read full descriptionHide full description
Silent meditation timer and practice log for people who already meditate. Pick a technique, sit in quiet, and keep an honest record of every session — no guided audio, no content library to scroll, no voice interrupting your sit. MedLevels treats meditation as a practice, not a playlist. Choose Mindfulness, Breath Focus, Body Scan, Loving-Kindness, Visualisation, or Mantra, set 5 to 45 minutes, and begin. Short written prompts pace the sit on screen, and a quiet alert marks the end even when the screen is off. When you finish, the minutes you actually sat — not the target — go straight into your journal. WHAT YOU GET • A streak that survives a hectic week — sessions logged by hand still count, so a sit on a park bench is never lost • Six techniques on one timer, so Tuesday's body scan and Sunday's loving-kindness land in the same history • A reflection attached to every sit — "restless until minute eight" is worth more than the number alone • A 14-day chart of your real rhythm: which days you sit, for how long, and which technique keeps coming back • An end-of-session alert that fires on time with the screen dark, so you never crack an eye open to check • Honest early endings — stop at minute 7 of a 20-minute sit and the log says 7, not 20 PERFECT FOR • Meditators who left guided apps behind and just need a timer that remembers • Zazen sitters who want an unadorned clock and a place for field notes • Anyone rebuilding a lapsed daily practice around a visible streak • Journal keepers who want reflections attached to sessions, not scattered across a notes app WHY NOT JUST THE CLOCK APP? A kitchen timer ends a sit; it does not remember it. MedLevels keeps the technique, the true minutes, the reflection, and the streak — so after a month you can see your practice instead of guessing at it. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Your journal never leaves your device. No account, no server, and your reflections are not analysed or uploaded. Delete an entry and it is gone. FULL ACCESS MedLevels requires a purchase: a Weekly or Yearly subscription, or a one-time Lifetime unlock. Full access covers all six techniques, every session length from 5 to 45 minutes, the complete journal archive, and streak, totals, and 14-day insights. Prices are shown in the app before any purchase, and billing is handled by the App Store. Sit today, write one honest line about it, and let the streak start at 1. ViSota
Read full descriptionHide full description
ViSota is a quiet meditation timer — and, if you want it, a line of the Buddha's own words to sit with before you begin. Set your time, choose a bell, and sit. Nothing else asks for your attention. A timer that stays out of the way • Gentle opening and closing bells, and interval bells if you like them. • Soft ambient backgrounds — rain, a forest at night, a river, a quiet hall. • Save a sitting as a preset — your duration, sound and bells in one tap. • An optional daily reminder. • Works fully offline. Nothing to sign up for. A verse to sit with (optional) Before you sit, ViSota can offer a short verse from the Pāḷi canon — the Buddha's own words — on a theme such as the hindrances, the factors of awakening, or the boundless qualities (loving-kindness, compassion, joy, equanimity). Tap a Pāḷi word to see its meaning in your language. Take it or leave it; the timer is complete on its own. Yours, in your language The app speaks many languages, and the verses are drawn from the canon in each tradition's own words wherever we can. A gift ViSota is free and non-commercial — offered as a gift of Dhamma (dāna). No ads. No accounts. No tracking. We collect no data; your settings stay on your device. Sit however you sit. ViSota just keeps the time and, if you wish, offers a few words to begin.
