Stop guessing how many boards to buy. LumberCut is a cut list optimizer that nests every piece you need onto the fewest stock boards possible โ so you walk into the lumber yard knowing the exact count and waste before you make a single cut. Most cut calculators ignore the saw. LumberCut subtracts the blade kerf on every single cut, so the optimized plan never leaves a board a few millimeters short. It runs a proven First-Fit Decreasing packing pass, places your longest pieces first, and hands you a clean layout you can take straight to the shop. WHAT YOU GET - The exact number of boards to buy โ no over-ordering, no last-minute yard runs - A per-board cut diagram showing every piece, its length, and the leftover offcut - Kerf accounted for on every cut, so real-world boards actually fit - A yield and waste percentage that tells you how efficient your plan is - Board-foot totals for hardwood, so you buy the right amount by volume - Saved projects and reusable stock presets you can reopen anytime PERFECT FOR - Woodworkers building furniture, cabinets, and shelving - DIY builders framing walls, decks, and outdoor projects - Carpenters and contractors pricing out a materials list - Hobbyists who hate wasting expensive hardwood WHY NOT JUST DO THE MATH ON PAPER Because paper math forgets the kerf, packs pieces in the order you wrote them, and can't test a hundred arrangements in a second. LumberCut does the packing, subtracts every saw cut, and shows you the layout โ you just cut. PRIVACY Every project stays on your device. No accounts, no ads, no tracking. FULL ACCESS LumberCut Pro unlocks multiple stock sizes and materials, unlimited saved projects, the full cut diagram to share, and the board-foot estimator. Upgrade options: a weekly plan, a yearly plan, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID; subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and you can manage or cancel anytime in your App Store settings. Type your cut list, pick your stock, and see how few boards you really need. Cut List Optimizer & Planner

A full sheet of plywood costs real money. This tells you how to cut it before you waste any. Type in the pieces you need and Cut List Optimizer lays them out on the sheet for you, kerf and grain included, then hands you a numbered order to cut them in. No sketching on the offcut. No discovering at piece eleven that the last one does not fit. WHAT YOU GET A layout with the waste worked out. Every part nested, the yield as a percentage, and the offcut shown against each sheet โ before the blade touches anything. The kerf, accounted for. Your blade turns a few millimeters of plywood into sawdust on every single cut. Twelve cuts across a sheet and that is a piece you no longer have. Set your kerf once and it is in every calculation from then on. A cut order, not a puzzle. Rip first, then crosscut, numbered down the screen with the measurement for each one. Follow it and the offcuts stay square and usable. Grain direction, where it matters (Pro). Lock a part to the grain and the optimizer will not quietly rotate it to save a few millimeters. Inches or millimeters. Standard sheet presets for 8x4, 5x5 and 4x4, or type your own. Share the layout. Send the diagram to your phone, your printer or whoever is helping you cut. WHAT IS FREE, AND WHAT IS PRO Free, and staying free: unlimited parts, the optimizer, the sheet count and yield for the whole job, the full diagram and cut order for the first sheet, saved plans, and sharing a sheet as an image. If your job fits on one sheet, it is free from start to finish. Cut Planner Pro is a single payment for bigger jobs: every sheet of a multi-sheet job, each with its own cut order, the grain lock, and the whole job as one printable PDF. No subscription. No account. No ads. No network connection needed, which matters in a workshop where the signal does not reach.
