A private journal that stays yours. Cozy is local first: nothing is synced to a server, and nothing is fed to AI. Your words stay right on your device, in your own files, yours to keep or share however you like. Cozy is free to download, so you can open it up and look around first. Writing is what the one-time purchase unlocks: pay once, and it's yours for good. No subscription, no account, nothing to cancel. WHY COZY Your files, on your device Nothing is stored on a mystery cloud. Every entry is a file of your own, the kind any app can open, sitting where you put it. Your thoughts, experiences and writing live right where you write them, and they're yours forever. Nothing fed to an AI Your private writing shouldn't be used to train anything. Nothing you write in Cozy is scraped, read, or sent off to an algorithm. No AI, simple as that. Your words are yours What you write belongs to you. Maybe you're working through a rough day, maybe you're just keeping track of life as it happens. Either way, you stay in charge: keep your entries to yourself, or export and share them whenever you like. WHAT YOU CAN DO More than text Add a photo or several, a voice note, or a video. Drop in whatever made your day so you can find it again later. Make it yours Tag your entries, mark where you were, or build your own trackers for any habit or mood you want to follow. Cozy bends to the way you like to journal. Different ways to look back See your entries laid out on a calendar, or pinned to the places you wrote them. However you remember, Cozy helps you find your way back. Write in any language Your journal speaks whatever language you do. Write in Japanese, Arabic, or Spanish, mix a few in one entry, and the languages that read right to left flow that way on their own. SYNC THROUGH ICLOUD There's no Cozy server, so there's nothing to sign into. Keep your journal in the Cozy folder in iCloud Drive and the same journal opens on your iPhone and your iPad, and on Cozy for Mac and Windows too. Entries download on their own as you open them. ALREADY MOVED IN FROM ANOTHER APP? If you brought your old entries over from Notion, Day One, Obsidian or Bear, they reach your iPhone the same way every journal does, through iCloud. Your whole history comes with you. ONE PURCHASE, NOT A SUBSCRIPTION Unlock Cozy once and it stays unlocked. No monthly fee, no account, no ads, and nothing to cancel. It restores on any device signed in to the same Apple Account.
