Easy Audio Spectrogram vs Spectrum Analyzer
Price, ratings, monetisation and update history for both apps, side by side — with what reviewers say about each.
Easy Audio Spectrogram
Read full descriptionHide full description
Easy Audio Spectrogram is a simple real-time audio visualizer for microphone input. It shows live spectrogram and frequency spectrum views, helping you explore voices, instruments, music, room noise, and everyday sounds. The app is built around readability. Instead of adjusting gain values in the blind or fight a fixed color range, Easy Audio Spectrogram lets you adjust the graph’s dynamic range in real time. Use the live spectrum display as a guide, drag the color scale to the range you care about, and instantly get a clearer spectrogram. For music and voice, the app includes a note-based frequency scale and real-time pitch detection, making it easier to see sung notes, instrument pitch, harmonics, and resonance as they happen. The interface is minimal and comfortable to use in any orientation, even upside down. Text and icons rotate, but controls stay where they are, so the app remains easy to use whether the phone is in your hand, on a table, or pointed toward a sound source. You do not have to understand what's an FFT to use this app, the default setting works well and engineering settings have been translated to understandable concepts. You can save clean spectrogram screenshots directly from the app, without the buttons covering the image and without pressing hardware button combinations. This app is free to use, free of pop-ups or advertisement banners, use it to explore music or the science of acoustics. Additional Features: -Noise profile removal, hold the button to record a profile, release to activate. -Analyze harmonics in real time with multi-touch. -Psychoacoustic filter to make the graph reflect perceived sound signature rather than flat physical reality. -Optimized performance for many hours of use without heating up your device or draining the battery.

See sound in real time with Spectrum Analyzer: Audio RTA, a powerful audio analysis tool for visualizing frequencies, waveforms and spectral activity through your device’s microphone. Whether you are tuning speakers, examining music, testing audio equipment, identifying troublesome frequencies or simply exploring the sounds around you, the app gives you a clear and responsive view of your audio signal. REAL-TIME AUDIO SPECTRUM ANALYSIS View the frequency content of live sound as it happens. The spectrum analyzer separates the incoming audio into frequency components, making it easier to identify peaks, harmonics, resonance and changes across the sound spectrum. FFT FREQUENCY ANALYZER Use Fast Fourier Transform analysis to examine the frequencies present in music, speech, instruments, speakers and environmental sound. Follow frequency peaks and observe how the signal changes over time. LIVE SPECTROGRAM Turn sound into an easy-to-read visual frequency map. The spectrogram displays how frequency intensity develops over time, helping you recognize tones, harmonics, patterns and transient sounds. AUDIO WAVEFORM DISPLAY Watch the shape and amplitude of the microphone signal in real time. The waveform view provides a direct visual representation of changes in volume and signal behaviour. RTA FOR AUDIO TESTING Use your iPhone or iPad as a convenient real-time analyzer for: • Speaker and stereo testing • Room and acoustic checks • Music and instrument analysis • Identifying frequency peaks • Monitoring background noise • Examining voices and sound effects • Audio equipment testing • Learning about sound and frequencies UNDERSTAND THE SOUNDS AROUND YOU Spectrum Analyzer: Audio RTA helps reveal details that are difficult to recognize by listening alone. Observe low, mid and high frequencies, compare different sounds and discover how every audio source creates its own spectral pattern. DESIGNED FOR QUICK, CLEAR ANALYSIS The responsive interface makes it easy to move between audio analysis views and focus on the information you need. Use it for technical checks, music production, education, acoustic experiments or everyday sound exploration. KEY FEATURES • Real-time audio spectrum analyzer • FFT frequency analysis • Live spectrogram visualization • Audio waveform display • Frequency and amplitude monitoring • Microphone-based sound analysis • Clear visual representation of audio signals • Support for both portrait and landscape use • Useful for speakers, music, voices and environmental noise From simple sound experiments to detailed frequency inspection, Spectrum Analyzer: Audio RTA puts a capable audio visualization tool in your pocket. Download the app and start seeing the frequencies hidden inside every sound.
