Hidden Camera Check
Read full descriptionHide full description
Look for hidden-camera clues in a hotel room, vacation rental or unfamiliar space. ClearRoom helps you check Wi-Fi responses, explore nearby Bluetooth devices and inspect the room visually. No phone app can rule out hidden cameras. START WITH WI-FI Start a check on Wi-Fi youβre allowed to inspect. Follow progress as devices respond, then review any video-streaming clues. Ordinary devices are not labeled as cameras. An incomplete check is shown as incomplete, with details to help you understand what happened. TAKE A CLOSER LOOK Follow illustrated guidance for small openings and lens reflections. Use the lens viewer to focus, zoom and add light on supported cameras. A reflection alone is not proof of a camera. EXPLORE BLUETOOTH DEVICES See nearby Bluetooth Low Energy announcements and compare changes in signal strength. Names come from the devices and may be missing or inaccurate. Signal strength does not measure distance or direction, and a Bluetooth device is not necessarily a camera. ClearRoom does not pair with devices or access their content. TRY AN INFRARED LIGHT CHECK Choose the front or rear camera and try an optional TV-remote compatibility check. Record a 12-second silent sweep, then pause, scrub and enlarge frames. A countdown, dim screen and start/end vibrations help when the screen faces away from you. No microphone access is requested. KEEP YOUR INSPECTION ON YOUR IPHONE No account, ads, analytics, subscriptions or in-app purchases. Inspection data is not uploaded to the developer. Notes, photos and a room checklist are optional. Temporary sweep clips are deleted when you leave or background the check unless you explicitly export a copy. UNDERSTAND THE LIMITS A streaming response can come from a camera or another media device. Direct Wi-Fi checks cover six common TCP ports on the connected IPv4 subnet, up to 1,022 host addresses. Bonjour also checks advertised streaming, web, media-receiver and printing services. Other ports, IPv6-only devices, isolated networks, offline cameras and devices on other networks can be missed. Infrared visibility varies by iPhone camera. Seeing a remoteβs light does not establish room-distance performance or sensitivity to every wavelength. Many cameras emit no infrared light, and ordinary devices can emit it. A point of light does not identify a camera. Magnetic-field readings are an additional tool; magnets, metal and speakers affect them, and they cannot identify cameras or measure Wi-Fi signals. ClearRoom supports manual inspection. It does not automatically identify cameras or certify a room as camera-free. Camera, Bluetooth and magnetic tools need a physical iPhone. Support: contato@terosmk.com.br TMK Consultoria LTDA
