Tintello is a calm daily practice built around color and curiosity. You look at a color name, choose from four swatches, and find out where that color came from and why it matters. No timers. No scores. No streak pressure. Just a few minutes of focused attention and a growing vocabulary for something most people never slow down to notice. --- WHY IT SETTLES YOU DOWN Behavioral researchers have long observed that brief, absorbing tasks, ones that occupy attention at a level matched to skill, without time pressure or competition, shift the mind toward a calmer state. Mindfulness research supports the same mechanism: slow, deliberate attention to sensory detail quiets the kind of mental chatter that drives daily stress. Tintello is designed around that. The pace is yours. The stakes are low. The engagement is real. --- 700+ COLORS WITH REAL STORIES Every color in Tintello comes from somewhere. Cobalt is named after a goblin that German miners blamed for poisoning their ore. Vermilion fueled the Renaissance. Saffron costs more per gram than gold. After each answer, you get the lore: a short fact drawn from art history, etymology, natural science, or cultural context. Three to five facts per color. The kind of things that make you look at the world differently afterward. --- 200+ PALETTES. EACH ONE A WORLD. Every color belongs to a themed palette built around a place, a season, a cuisine, a mood, or an architectural tradition. Venice. High Desert. Raku Ceramics. Parisian Cafes. Coastal Japan. The Dead Sea at Dusk. Browse 200+ palettes organized by theme and mood. Pick what calls to you. Take your time. --- A SMALL RITUAL THAT EARNS ITS PLACE A new palette waits each morning. Ten colors, a few minutes, no pressure. The kind of thing you can fold into a morning routine, a lunch break, or the quiet before sleep, and actually look forward to. --- Download Tintello. Find out how many colors you already know, and how many have been waiting for you to notice them.
Gratitude Practice

Write three things you're grateful for and you run dry fast. Good weather, a tasty lunch, my health. There's only so much you have. But some memories stay sharp for months. The time someone quietly helped you when things were hard. The day someone thanked you, and meant it. What passes between people stays. 'Gratitude Practice' is built on that difference. *Two things, side by side Grateful today — written fresh each day. Starts with three fields; add or remove as you like. Revisit — coming back now and then to the same story. Write down a time you were thanked, or helped, as three or four bullet points, then sit with the feeling for a minute or two. *Why the same story Revisiting isn't about finding more to read. It's about letting the feeling from back then come up again now. Think of a song you love. Choosing a new one each time means spending the first minute deciding whether you like it. A familiar one puts you there within two bars. *What isn't here No streaks. No monthly counts. Days you miss go unmentioned. An empty day is just empty. No prompts, no quote feed, no AI replies. Just a title and empty fields. No account. You'll never see a sign-in screen. No ads, no subscription. *Your entries stay yours Stored on this device and in iCloud. Nothing is sent to a server, and nothing is collected. Change phones and it comes back on its own. Export any time as JSON or Markdown. Lock it with Face ID. *Where this comes from The two-part structure comes from a gratitude practice described by neuroscientist Andrew Huberman in a 2021 episode of the Huberman Lab podcast.
