Trivet

Photograph a handwritten recipe card and get it back as a clean typed card you can cook from. The photo of the original stays with it. It reads cookbook pages and screenshots too, and it reads them on your iPhone or iPad, so there is no account to make and nothing is uploaded. Your first 15 recipes are free for good. Start with the stained card in your mother's handwriting. It comes back typeset and readable at the stove. The cookbook page you keep going back to and the recipe screenshot you can never find go the same way, into one box you can search. HOW IT WORKS - Point the camera at a recipe, or pick a photo or a screenshot you already have. - Trivet reads it right there on the device and lays it out as a clean card: ingredients in a measured column, steps numbered, the source photo attached. - Proofread what it read. Any word it was unsure of is marked, so you know where to look. Then keep the card for good. - A stack of cards works too. Keep flipping; each card comes back as its own recipe, and you proofread them one after another. THE ORIGINAL IS ALWAYS THERE The photo you took stays with the card, one tap away, because the handwriting is the keepsake. You cook from the typeset version and keep the original. Frame it, 5x7 or 8x10, and you have a gift. THE FAMILY BOOK - Bind the box, or one collection, into one PDF book: a title page with a line of your own, a contents list, every typed card on its own page, the photo of the original after it. - Say whose recipe it is: "Nana, 1974", "Mom's blue notebook". The line prints under the title and in the book's contents, and search finds it. - Print it at home or at a copy shop. COOK FROM IT - Cook mode shows one step at a time in large type, and the screen stays awake while your hands are busy. - Search by dish or by ingredient. - Group cards into collections: "Mom's", "Weeknight". - Print the typed card on 4x6 or 3x5 index cards, or share it beside the original photo. - Export your whole box as portable files, and bring an export back on a new phone. WHAT IS FREE Your first 15 recipes, and everything about keeping them: viewing, editing, searching, collections, printing, sharing, binding a book, a two-recipe grocery list, export, and bringing an export back. If you never pay, nothing you captured is locked away. TRIVET PLUS - Unlimited recipes - Recipe scaling: half it, double it - US to metric conversion - Grocery lists from more than two recipes - Cook-mode timers, one per step, started by you WHO IT IS FOR The person who inherited a shoebox of cards and wants Grandma's handwriting kept and her cake still made this weekend. The cook who photographs pages in the bookshop and loses them in the camera roll. PRIVATE, LIKE THE BOX ON THE COUNTER There is no account and no cloud. The reading happens on your iPhone or iPad, so capture works in Airplane Mode. Your family's recipes stay in your family, and export is part of the free tier, so your whole box can leave with you whenever you want it to, and come back. SUBSCRIPTION TERMS Trivet offers two ways to unlock Trivet Plus: - Annual: $24.99/year, an auto-renewing subscription, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers only. - Lifetime: a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
