Remote Pi turns your iPhone into the control surface for the AI coding agents running on every machine you work from. Pair your phone once by scanning a QR code on your Mac. From then on your devices form a mesh: the agents on your machines talk to each other, and your phone is the trusted key that authorizes new peers and lets you step in from anywhere. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Scan a QR code to pair with a machine in seconds • See every active agent session across all your paired machines in one list • Follow the conversation live as your agent streams its work • Approve or reject tool calls with a tap — you stay in control of what runs • Move between machines without losing context YOUR PHONE IS JUST THE AUTHENTICATOR You don't run the heavy work on your phone. The agents live on your computers; your phone holds the cryptographic identity that vouches for new devices and gives you a window into what's happening. Pairing uses Ed25519 device keys over TLS. WORKS WITH THE HARNESS YOU USE Remote Pi rides alongside the coding-agent setup you already run on your machines instead of replacing it. OPEN SOURCE & SELF-HOSTABLE Remote Pi is open source. Start with the public relay, or point the app at your own self-hosted relay so the connection between your devices runs on infrastructure you control. Built for developers who want their agents within reach — on the couch, on the move, or away from the desk.

Avengents puts the coding agents on your own computers in your pocket. Pair a machine once, then open any agent's terminal from your phone, talk to it, hand it files, and watch it work — Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and more. Start new agents, message one agent from another, and keep several projects going at once. • Your machines, your agents: everything runs on computers you control. Avengents is the client and the relay, never the host. • Voice input: press the microphone and speak; your words land in the agent's terminal. • The Avengents keyboard: add it once and your agents are in every app. Dictate into Mail or Notes, or pin an agent, ask it something without leaving the app you are in, and edit its answer before it is typed. On iPad it is a full-size iPad keyboard. • Photos both ways: send one to an agent from the keyboard, and save the pictures it sends back to Photos or Files. • Artifacts: ask an agent to put a page, a report or a running app at a web address. It stays on your machine — nothing is uploaded, and every visit is carried live to that computer. Keep it to yourself, open it to your friends, or make the link public. • Notifications: choose which agents and which rooms may tell you when they finish or write to you. Nothing else interrupts. • Project Chat: rooms where people and agents work together, with files. • Friends: message a friend, or let them reach one of your agents. Free tier includes limited voice input each day. Avengents Plus (US$2.99/month, auto-renewing) provides 60 minutes of voice input per day. Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Remote Pi at none against Avengents's 1. Remote Pi also leads on chart position (#179 vs unranked) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). Avengents's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 10 days) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating and ads there is nothing between them.
