DNS Quick is a DNS settings manager for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Choose from public DNS presets, compare response times from your current network, and save the DNS configuration you want to use. You can also add custom DNS settings and keep them on this device. Features: - Curated DNS resolver presets - DNS response-time and failure checks - Custom DNS configuration management - IPv4, IPv6, DoH, and DoT setup support - Saved and enabled status checks - macOS menu bar controls for saved DNS configurations - In-app language switching from settings DNS Quick uses the system DNS settings supported by Apple platforms. iOS, iPadOS, or macOS may require you to approve or enable the saved configuration in Settings or System Settings. DNS Quick is not a VPN, does not proxy or inspect traffic, and does not change DNS without user approval. No account is required. DNS Quick includes no usage analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no persistent DNS query logging. Crash reports are sent through Firebase Crashlytics to fix bugs, and you can turn this off in Settings. DNS requests may be handled by the DNS provider you choose.

About

Priv8Scout

Features

Priv8Scout turns your iPhone into a network field scout. See what's on your Wi-Fi, catch the device you don't recognize, find out why something's slow, scan a room in 3D, and do it all without handing your data to anyone. SEE YOUR NETWORK • Connection Info — IPv4 and IPv6, subnet, gateway, DNS, interface, SSID, BSSID, public IP, ISP and ASN • Scan Network — finds devices on your LAN using Bonjour, TCP sweep and ICMP, so it still works when devices refuse to answer a ping • MAC address and maker for devices on your local network (iOS 27 or later) • New tags — a device that isn't in any of your saved projects is marked New, with a "Show only new" switch • Devices that sleep through a scan can still be listed, greyed out and marked "didn't answer" • Each device shows when it was first recorded and last seen • Port scanning with Quick, Standard, Thorough and Custom profiles • Service detection that identifies SSH, RDP, HTTP, SMB and more on whatever port they're actually running on • Scan history with side-by-side diffs — see exactly what changed between visits MAP A SPACE • Site Survey — build a floor plan from a photo, a PDF, or a sketch, then calibrate the scale • LiDAR room scanning on supported Pro iPhone models — walls, doors and windows arrive to scale as editable vector objects, with the 3D model kept • Place and label access point markers while you're standing in front of them MEASURE AND DIAGNOSE • Speed Test — throughput, latency, gateway ping and DNS timing • Compared with your usual — each test sits next to your earlier ones on the same network, on a chart that marks the drops, with a plain warning when something changes (like your upload quietly falling by half) • DNS Benchmark — finds the fastest DNS server, and tells you if the one you use has slowed down or changed • Signal Quality — a live relative Wi-Fi quality reading for finding dead spots • Ping, Traceroute, DNS Lookup, WHOIS, TLS/SSL Inspector, HTTP Client, Telnet/Raw TCP, Subnet Calculator, MAC Vendor Lookup KEEP AND SHARE • Projects for each client and location, with reports that call out speed drops, DNS changes and new devices • Color-Blind Friendly mode — red-green safe colors on signal grades, status colors and charts. Turn it on per client too, so the reports you hand over use it • CSV and JSON export PRIVACY, NOT AS A FEATURE BULLET No accounts. No analytics. No telemetry. No ads. No third-party SDKs that phone home. We don't collect or use your data, and we don't run servers that could see it. Your data stays on your device. iCloud sync uses your own private iCloud database — Apple's encryption, not ours, and not visible to us. You can turn it off in Settings. Apart from iCloud sync, the only request the app makes on its own is a public-IP lookup, so it can show your WAN address and ISP. Everything else happens only when you start it. HONEST ABOUT WHAT iOS CAN'T DO iOS doesn't give apps like this a scan of nearby Wi-Fi networks or raw sockets, and MAC addresses need iOS 27 or later. Signal readings here are a relative quality measure, not measured signal strength, which needs radio access iOS doesn't grant. Where a number is approximate, we say so. WORKS WITH PRIV8SCOUT WORKBENCH FOR MAC The iPhone is the scout; the Mac is the workbench. Capture floor plans and LiDAR room scans in the field here, then move to Priv8Scout Workbench on your Mac for nearby-network scanning, true signal-strength survey sampling, heat maps and client reports.
