TransApp vs Note Taker

TransApp is a voice-to-text transcription app that turns WhatsApp voice messages and any other audio into text, right on your iPhone, for people who would rather read than listen. Everything happens on your device: no cloud, no account, and it works without internet. WHAT IT'S FOR • Reading a long WhatsApp voice message in seconds, without playing it • Catching voice notes in a meeting, on the bus, or anywhere you can't play sound • Voice messages in other languages: nearly 100, detected automatically for each message • Replying fast: read it, dictate your answer, paste it back into WhatsApp • Recording a thought on Apple Watch and reading it later on your iPhone HOW IT WORKS In WhatsApp, touch and hold a voice message, tap Share and choose TransApp. The transcript appears in seconds. Fix any word, search it, or copy it with one tap. It also works with Telegram, Messages, recordings and any audio file up to 30 minutes*. QUESTIONS WhatsApp already transcribes voice messages. Why TransApp? WhatsApp's transcripts use one language you pick for every voice message. TransApp detects the language of each message among nearly 100, takes audio from any app, and lets you edit, search and copy the text. Does my audio go to a server? No. Transcription runs on your iPhone's own chip, and shared audio is deleted as soon as it's transcribed. Does it work offline? Yes. The speech model ships inside the app, so it works offline right after you install it. ON YOUR WRIST TransApp on Apple Watch is for the thought you have when your phone is in your pocket. Raise your wrist, tap once, and speak for up to fifteen minutes. The clip goes to your own iPhone, which transcribes it on-device and notifies you when the text is ready. It works even when your iPhone is not nearby: the clip waits on your wrist and sends itself the moment your phone is back in range. FREE, AND MORE WHEN YOU NEED IT TransApp is free to download and includes free on-device transcription every day. The optional Unlimited subscription lifts the daily limit. The price is always shown in the App Store before you subscribe, and you can cancel anytime. FOR IPHONE, IPAD, MAC AND APPLE WATCH One purchase covers them all. * 15 minutes on iPhones with less memory. Terms of Use: https://thetrans.app/terms
