Shellcove is a secure Mac remote for AI coding, terminal work, demos, and long-running tasks. Control your Mac over LAN or the Internet—even without a public IP or port forwarding—with Remote Desktop, live Window Text, iOS input-method text entry, keyboard, mouse, and clipboard sync. No account, separate VPN app, cloud storage, ads, or analytics. Built for remote coding and agentic coding workflows: run AI agents, Claude Code, codex, aider, terminal sessions, and long Mac tasks, then use your iPhone or iPad to watch output, send prompts, press keys, and keep work moving from across the room. How it works - Open the Shellcove Mac app once. It shows a pairing QR. - In Shellcove on your iPhone or iPad, tap "Scan QR". The devices pin a self-signed TLS certificate and can connect directly or through an end-to-end encrypted relay — no account or login. Key features - Remote Desktop, by touch: stream the Mac desktop as video and drive it directly — tap or drag to move the cursor, pinch to zoom, two-finger scroll, long-press to drag. Use full screen, choose any display, and open Keyboard & mouse for clicks and every key. - Text input via iOS keyboard and input methods: tap the bottom input bar, use iOS Dictation or any third-party keyboard to compose text, then send it to the focused Mac window character by character. It works in any app, including modern terminals. - Keys: six always-visible keys (Esc, Tab, Delete, Space, Next tab ⌃Tab, Enter), plus a More Keys panel with 32 combos for editing, navigation, terminal control, and function keys. - Clipboard sync: the Mac's clipboard mirrors to your paired devices automatically; send your device's clipboard back to the Mac with one tap. - Window Text: open a live, monospaced view of the focused Mac window's text (e.g. a terminal buffer). Full screen keeps AI-agent output and long logs readable; wide lines scroll, no video needed. - Keep screen awake: optionally prevent iPhone auto-lock while Shellcove is active in the foreground, useful for long remote-control or monitoring sessions. - iPhone + iPad, any orientation: the layout adapts to every screen — a single column on phones, a two-column "big screen + controls" layout on iPad, and a landscape mode that rearranges to fit. - Automatic Internet connection: Shellcove prefers direct LAN/VPN paths, then uses embedded Tailcat WireGuard NAT traversal and encrypted relay fallback when the Mac has no public IP. No separate Tailscale installation or account is required. Privacy & networking - Remote-control content stays end-to-end encrypted between your iPhone/iPad and Mac. A relay, when needed, transports encrypted packets and may process connection metadata, but cannot read the screen, text, clipboard, or input. - TLS with certificate pinning. The Mac generates a self-signed certificate at first launch; your device pins its fingerprint at pairing. - No accounts, cloud storage, telemetry, advertising, or tracking. The open-source Tailcat transport is bundled only for encrypted connectivity. - Text is composed by the system keyboard or the input method you choose. Shellcove receives only the final text and does not request microphone or Speech Recognition permission. Best paired with - Remote coding with AI agents in your terminal: Remote Desktop + Window Text + text input + button remote. - Long-running terminal commands where you keep hitting Enter / y / n. - Demos and presentations where you want to drive the Mac from across the room. Requirements - A Mac running macOS 13 (Ventura) or newer with the free companion Shellcove Mac app installed (apps.zhizuzhefu.com/shellcove). - Both devices need Internet access. Same-Wi-Fi and VPN connections remain the fastest paths; no public IP or router port forwarding is required. - One-time Accessibility and Screen Recording permission on the Mac so it can synthesize input and mirror the screen.

Forty-three widgets for people who care what their Home Screen looks like. Elyr is a widget app built the way a widget should be: one number, one image, nothing competing for your attention. Every widget comes in three sizes, eleven styles and fourteen typefaces, drawn for light mode and for dark. One app for iPhone, iPad and Mac, bought once. WIDGETS THAT KNOW TWO THINGS AT ONCE Today — the clock, the temperature and your next event in one slot. Up Next · Weather — every event carries the forecast for the hour it starts. Body — steps, move, heart and sleep together, on one card. Morning — sunrise, the hours ahead, and what is on today. Duo — pick what goes in each half yourself, from twenty-seven options. ON THE LOCK SCREEN Most Elyr widgets also have a Lock Screen form — a gauge, a line beside the clock, or a full rectangle. A running Focus session counts down there and in the Dynamic Island. WHAT YOU CAN PUT ON YOUR HOME SCREEN Weather — the temperature and one condition glyph, with an hourly strip on the larger sizes. Celsius or Fahrenheit, set once for every widget. Set a city; Elyr never asks for your location. Feels Like, Rain, UV Index, Wind — the readings that change what you wear, from the forecast Elyr already has. Daylight and Golden Hour — how much light is left, and when it's worth going out. Up Next — the next thing in your calendar. Not a list. Just what's next. Reminders and Birthdays — what you told yourself to do, and whose birthday is next. Both read-only; names and dates only. Clock, Date, World Clock — the time, the day and its week, and three places worth knowing the hour in. Countdown, Since, Year, Season — days until, days since, and how far through. Focus, Tally, Streak, Mood, Quotes — focused time, anything you want to count, the days you kept it up, how today went, and 233 lines of Marcus Aurelius, Rumi and Dickinson. All answer a tap without opening the app. Moon and Name Day — tonight's phase and the Romanian Orthodox calendar, both offline. Activity, Move, Heart, Sleep, Bedtime — from Apple Health, with a countdown to the hour you want to be asleep by. Battery, Storage, Music — the level, the free space, and what's playing, with play, pause and skip. Hue — a different colour every day, from the date itself. FIVE FOR THE 8×4 CARD (iPad and Mac) Desk — the clock, the weather and the rest of your day on one card. Week — seven columns, four events deep, starting today, not on a Monday already gone. Agenda — today placed against the hours instead of listed. Meridian — six places, and how far into the day each one is. This Mac — disk, battery and uptime. This iPad, on an iPad. ELEVEN STYLES, FOURTEEN TYPEFACES Glass, Paper, Sand, Clay, Moss, Jade, Mist, Slate, Velvet, Line and Ink, set in SF Pro Rounded, Space Grotesk, Bebas Neue, JetBrains Mono, Anton, Orbitron or eight others. The gallery in the app shows every widget at full size in all of them, before you commit. PRIVACY, PLAINLY No account. No analytics. No advertising. No tracking of any kind. Your health data, calendar, reminders, contacts, music and mood never leave your device. The only things that ever go out are the coordinates of the city you chose, to fetch the weather from Apple Weather, and a purchase receipt. Elyr never asks for your location and cannot work out where you are. Tally counts, mood entries and preferences sync between your devices through iCloud, not any server of ours. ONE PAYMENT Clock, Year, Countdown and Quotes are free forever, in three styles, with no time limit. Elyr Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks the other thirty-nine widgets, every style and every typeface. Not a subscription, and it does not renew. A widget already on your Home Screen can never stop working because a payment failed, and everything added later is included. Requires iOS 17 or macOS 14. The Health, Calendar, Reminders, Contacts and Music widgets ask permission first; everything else works without any.
