AlmanacDay is a beautifully crafted traditional Chinese almanac (老黄历) and perpetual lunar calendar. Every day it tells you what is auspicious and what to avoid, the lunar date, the 24 solar terms, and your zodiac guidance — all computed entirely on your device, no account and no internet required. WHAT YOU GET EVERY DAY • Today at a glance — Gregorian and lunar date, GanZhi (heavenly-stem / earthly-branch) year, month and day, zodiac year, weekday and the current solar term. • Suitable & Avoid — clear 宜 (do) and 忌 (avoid) activity lists drawn from the classic almanac, shown as clean tags. • Deep almanac detail — clash zodiac & direction (冲煞), Five Elements / NaYin, the day's duty god (黄道 / 黑道), PengZu's hundred taboos, and the auspicious / inauspicious spirits. • Twelve double-hours — an hour-by-hour luck table with GanZhi, lucky / unlucky marks, and the current hour highlighted. PERPETUAL CALENDAR • A full month grid with the lunar day, solar terms and holidays in every cell — swipe to any month or year. • Spring Festival, Qingming, Dragon Boat and every traditional & statutory holiday color-coded. • Tap any day to open its complete almanac, then flip to the previous / next day or jump straight back to today. • Jump to any Gregorian or lunar date, and a handy Gregorian ↔ lunar date converter. PICK A LUCKY DAY (择吉) • Choose an intention — wedding, moving house, opening a business, travel — and get a list of auspicious days ahead. • Open any candidate to confirm the full do / avoid list and the best hours before you commit. • Tap almanac terms for a plain-language explanation, and save your favorite dates (stored locally, always there). MORE • 24 solar terms for the year with exact dates & a countdown to the next one. • Chinese zodiac & Five Elements reference. • Home Screen & Lock Screen widgets showing today's lunar date and its key do / avoid words. • Designed in a warm rice-paper light theme, tuned for readability, with full iPad support.
