Zed is a money app for Nigerians, built around one idea. You should never have to wonder whether your money is safe. Create your account, verify your identity, get your own Zed account number, fund your wallet and send money to anyone in Nigeria. Every payment in and out sits on one clean list you can open any time. BUILT SECURE BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE Most money apps bury security in a settings menu. We put it in front of you, because you are about to trust a new app with your money and that deserves proof. Two separate PINs. One to sign in, one to move money. Someone holding your unlocked phone still cannot send a naira. Face ID. Your face opens the app and nothing else does. Passkey and password sign in. No code to intercept. Attempt limits. Too many wrong tries and the app locks itself. Brute force goes nowhere. Identity verification before your wallet goes live. Every Zed account belongs to a real, verified person. WHAT YOU CAN DO IN ZED TODAY Get your own Zed account number as soon as you are verified. Fund your wallet by transferring into that number from any account you already use. Send money to anyone in Nigeria in a few taps. See every payment in and out on a single timeline. Sign in with Face ID, a passkey, your password or your login PIN. WHO ZED IS FOR Salary earners, freelancers, vendors and anyone who wants a money app that treats security as the product rather than a footnote. THIS IS VERSION ONE This is version one of Zed. Everything you have read is in the app today, and there is a lot more coming. Free to download. Money made simple.

## 1. Purpose & target audience SmartCafe solves a common problem for people in Nigeria: buying everyday digital services β phone airtime, data bundles, cable TV subscriptions, electricity tokens, WAEC pins, and bulk SMS β previously required juggling multiple apps, prepaid scratch cards, or unreliable street vendors. Each channel has its own payment flow, its own risk of fraud or delay, and no unified record of what was bought. SmartCafe consolidates all of these into one wallet-first app. ## 2. Setup & accessing the main features - **Main features**: sign in with the demo customer credentials(email: tester@gmail.com, password:tester123), (or register a new account), fund the wallet from the Profile β βTop up walletβ screen, then buy Airtime / Data / Cable / Electricity / WAEC / SMS from the home screen. Every purchase asks for your 4-digit transaction PIN (set it under Profile β βSet / change transaction PINβ). Orders and receipts appear in the Transactions tab. ## 3. External services, tools & platforms The app's core functionality depends on these providers and platforms: **VTPASS** They provides API access for airtime, data, TV Subscription, WAEC and Electricity **eBulkSMS** Bulk SMS delivery (sender-ID campaigns) **Paystack** Wallet funding checkout (card, bank transfer, USSD) **MongoDB Atlas** Hosted database (replica set enables atomic transactions) **Vercel** Hosts the production API backend ## 4. Regional availability SmartCafe is purpose-built for **Nigeria** and its content and features are consistent across all regions where the app is offered. There is **no region-dependent feature gating** in the app code: the same features are available on every install, and the product/pricing catalog served by the backend determines what is purchaseable. If the platform were extended to another country, the catalog, currency, provider adapters, and vendor routing would be updated centrally in the backend β the app itself would function identically. ## 6. Regulated industry & third-party material SmartCafe operates as a **regulated digital-services reseller** in Nigeria. The value-added services (telecom airtime/data, electricity tokens, cable subscriptions, WAEC pins, and bulk SMS) are delivered through **authorised third-party APIs** rather than held or re-sold from stock:
