About

Mr. Drum

Features

Mr. Drum is a rhythm trainer for players who want to know how their timing actually feels. Play along to studio-quality drum patterns, and Mr. Drum measures where each of your hits lands against the beat - ahead of it (Push), behind it (Layback), or right on it (Center). PRACTICE TO REAL PATTERNS - 4-beat, 8-beat, 16-beat, swing and Latin styles, each with multiple variations - Tempo from a slow practice crawl up to full speed, with tap tempo - A count-in that follows the actual time signature of the pattern (3/4, 6/8, 12/8 and more) - Per-instrument mixer so you can pull the kick up or take the ride down - Haptic metronome and a visual flasher for practicing quietly SEE YOUR TIMING, NOT JUST HEAR IT - Play along with the microphone, or tap along on screen - both are analyzed the same way - Every session gives you an average offset in milliseconds, how consistent you were, and which beats you rush or drag the most - Tempo drift is separated from feel, so "playing behind the beat" is never confused with "slowing down" - Your Groove Profile builds up over time from your practice history TIME FEEL (PRO) Shift snare, ride, toms and percussion ahead of or behind the beat independently, and hear how a groove changes when the parts do not sit in the same place. YOUR AUDIO STAYS YOURS Mr. Drum listens through the microphone, but audio is never recorded or saved. Only the timing of each hit is kept, and it never leaves your device. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server.
