Then edit it like a document, ask AI about it, and export it anywhere. THE KEYBOARD THAT TYPES WITH YOUR VOICE The built-in KolWrite Keyboard works in any app on your phone. Open WhatsApp, Mail, Notes — tap the mic, speak, and watch your words appear. No copy-paste, no switching apps. Set it up once and dictate everywhere. TRANSCRIPTS THAT KNOW WHO'S TALKING • Speaker labels with names, not "Speaker 1" — KolWrite remembers the people you work with • Word-level timing: tap any word to hear that exact moment • First-class Hebrew and full right-to-left support, plus multilingual transcription EDIT LIKE A DOCUMENT • Fix a sentence right in the transcript — timings stay intact • Split and merge segments, rename speakers, highlight what matters • Built-in player with speed control that stays in sync while you edit AI THAT WORKS ON YOUR RECORDINGS • Summaries, decisions, and action items from meetings • Ask questions about what was said — the copilot reads the transcript so you don't re-listen • Translate and rewrite without leaving the app YOUR LIBRARY, ON EVERY DEVICE Record on your phone, edit on your Mac or PC. Everything syncs automatically. Works offline and catches up when you're back online. EXPORT ANYWHERE Word (DOCX), PDF, plain text, SRT and VTT subtitles, JSON — with or without speaker labels. MADE FOR REAL WORK Meeting minutes with decisions and action items. Interview quotes you can trace back to the exact timestamp. Customer and support calls. Lectures and classes. Video subtitles you can check line by line before publishing. Voice notes that come back as searchable text. WHAT AFFECTS THE RESULT Background noise, overlapping voices, microphone placement, accents, and specialist vocabulary all change what speech recognition can do. Try a recording that represents your real work and read the passages that matter. No bot has to join your meeting — bring the recording you already have. Transcription in more than 100 languages, with translation between supported languages. App interface: English, Hebrew, Arabic, Spanish, French, Russian, Chinese. Transcripts records and transcribes on your iPhone or iPad, and works with Transcripts for Mac to turn those recordings into meeting notes. Continue on your Mac Get Transcripts for Mac from the Mac App Store. Point both apps at the same Transcripts folder in iCloud Drive. The Mac processes your finished mobile recordings, adds speaker names and summaries, and saves the results back to the shared folder for you to read on iPhone or iPad. The Mac app also captures your microphone and the other side of a call, shows a live transcript, and files the finished notes where you keep them. Recording and speech processing happen on your devices; iCloud Drive syncs the files you choose to share. Your iPhone and iPad remain complete recorders on their own. A Mac is optional. Read it while you record Words appear on screen as you speak, using on-device speech recognition. No waiting for a file to upload and come back as text. It keeps recording Lock the screen, switch apps, take a call — capture continues, and a Live Activity on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island shows it is still running. Your files, your folder Recordings are saved as ordinary .m4a audio with a plain-text transcript beside each one. Choose where they go: iCloud Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, or just on your device. There is no proprietary library to escape from and nothing to export — the files are already yours. Genuinely private No servers, no accounts, no analytics, no advertising. Transcripts sends your audio nowhere: it requires on-device speech recognition and switches live text off rather than fall back to a server. Your recordings go only where you put them. Open source The app is open source under the MIT licence, so the privacy claims above are checkable rather than promised. Recording laws vary by location, and some places require the consent of everyone in a conversation. Please make sure you may lawfully record before you do.
