Something in your mix bothers you. You can hear it, but you can't find where it comes from. Audio Engineer Academy is built for music producers and audio engineers to close exactly that gap. A few minutes a day. 12 exercises. In English and Turkish. WHY IT'S DIFFERENT Most ear training apps play you abstract tones. You work on mixes. Every exercise here comes from a real mix decision: why the vocal sounds buried, where the guitar clashes with the drums, where a filter should cut, how hard a compressor is pushing. When you find the answer, what you learn isn't a number; it's a reflex. 12 EXERCISES · Frequency Finding — which frequency stands out · Cutoff Point — where the filter cuts · dB Level — how much it moved · Boost or Cut — which direction · Q Width — how narrow the band is · Compressor — how much it's squashing · Reverb — tail and depth · Saturation & Distortion — warmth and grit · Tonal Balance — the overall character of the mix · Frequency Masking — the band where two sources collide · Pan Position — place in the stereo field · Stereo Width — width level IT ADAPTS TO YOU A is dry, B is processed. Switch between them, catch the difference, give your answer. Each exercise has its own level. As you answer correctly the difference gets smaller; when you struggle it backs off. You don't have to keep up with anyone; you compete with your own ears. WORK WITH YOUR OWN MIX (Pro) Use your own file instead of the built-in sources. A difference you hear in a track you know teaches far more than one in a source you've never heard. The Tools tab also has: · Tonal Balance — compare your mix's frequency spread with a target band and see which range sticks out · Your own reference — load a song you like and put it side by side with your mix · Stereo Field — listen to mid and side separately and see where side information builds up · Measurement results — true peak, LUFS, RMS, phase correlation, mono compatibility loss, DC offset, band distribution · Reference filters — hear your mix roughly as it will sound on other devices, from a Bluetooth speaker to a club system LIVE ON MAC On Mac, put the free AEA Bridge plug-in on your DAW; listen to and measure your mix live in the app while it plays. Works with Logic, Cubase, Fender Studio Pro or Studio One. · Channel Clash — across up to four channels, see which channels mask each other and where, and listen to the clashing range on its own · Gain — bring the channel you solo to a target level (LUFS or peak); keep an eye on the master peak The bridge plug-in is a free download from audioengineeracademy.com. Requires a Mac with Apple silicon and macOS 12 or later. Audio is processed only on your Mac and is never sent anywhere. SEE YOUR PROGRESS It tracks which bands you're weak in and where you're getting stronger. The weak zone report tells you where to practice. Daily tasks keep the habit going. NO SUBSCRIPTION The free version has 5 exercises, 5 questions per session and 5 lives. Lives refill over time. Every purchase is one-time. No monthly charge, no renewal, nothing to cancel. Buy once, it's yours. · Pro — all 12 exercises, unlimited questions with no life limit, exams and level-ups, your own files, Tools, progress history and the weak zone report, no ads · Pro + Live (full bundle) — Pro plus Live on Mac (Channel Clash and Gain) · Live upgrade — Live for people who already have Pro You can try Live free for 5 days. When the trial ends, Live simply closes; you are not charged. USE HEADPHONES A phone speaker can't reproduce low frequencies and gives you no stereo field at all. Work with headphones or studio monitors. Cheap earbuds will mislead you. WHO MADE IT Made by LogicProTrick. Written by a long-time mixing and mastering educator for producers who struggle to find resources in Turkish. Your ears can improve. You just need to hear the right questions.
