Just Number Chain is a calm take on the number-chain puzzle (sometimes known as Hidato or Numbrix). The board has some numbers already given. Fill in the rest so the numbers 1 to N form a continuous chain — and any two consecutive numbers must touch, including diagonally. Two small rules govern the whole game: 1. Every cell on the board holds exactly one number from 1 to N. 2. Number k and number k+1 must sit in adjacent cells (up, down, left, right, OR diagonal). Some boards have holes — empty spaces that the chain wraps around. The given numbers anchor the puzzle; from those, the rest of the chain is fully determined. Simple rules, plenty of room to think. CONTENT — Hundreds of hand-curated puzzles, every one verified to have a unique solution. — Two phases of play. First, work through the campaign — a steady curve from gentle 5×5 starters up to 8×8 boards with irregular cutouts. Then Free Play opens: pick any difficulty and keep drawing from the library at your own pace. — A three-page rules tour on first launch, with a clean illustration for each rule. No videos, no walls of text — just enough to start playing. PART OF JUST PLAY Just Number Chain is the eighth game in the Just Play series, after Just Sudoku, Just Puzzle, Just Yin Yang, Just Stack, Just Hanoi, Just Star Battle, and Just Tents. The series shares one design philosophy: classic logic puzzles, patiently rebuilt, in a calm voice. No ads, no streaks, no engagement loops. The interface stays out of the way; the puzzle does the talking. PLAY YOUR WAY — Tap an empty cell touching the previous number to place the next one. Tap a filled number to roll back to before that step. — A soft chain trace between consecutive numbers shows your progress at a glance. — Restart any level at any time — never costs you anything. — Soft haptics that confirm your touch without shouting. PRIVACY BY DEFAULT Just Number Chain does not collect any personal data. It works completely offline. There is no account to create, no email to enter, no servers to talk to. Your progress lives on your device, and on iCloud if you choose to sync it. FULLY LOCALIZED Available in: English, 简体中文, 繁體中文, 日本語, 한국어, Español, Français, Deutsch, Italiano, Português (Brasil), Русский, العربية. For people who love the puzzle itself.
