When you first pick up a ukulele, the hard part usually isn't your fingers. It's not knowing what to do next. This app follows the teaching order of Teacher Hu from JIETERLI MUSIC in Taiwan, laid out one lesson at a time. Just keep going down the list. TWO PATHS - PICK ONE Chord players: learn four chords and a strumming rhythm, then strum and sing. Melody players: start from Do Re Mi and play tunes one note at a time. Finish both and you will see how they fit together. NO SHEET MUSIC NEEDED Every song has a sung guide: listen once, hum along, then pick up your ukulele. Chords, lyrics and notes are lined up, so you can see exactly where each chord change happens. YOUR PHONE IS YOUR PRACTICE ROOM Tuner: listens through the microphone and tells you if strings G, C, E, A are in tune. Metronome: keeps you steady while you change chords and strum. Chord chart: start with the first four chords; each diagram shows which finger to use. Note map: where each note is on each string. Tap to hear it. Pitch trainer: play a target note and see whether you are high or low. PLAY ALONG, NOT JUST READ Tap the fretboard to hear each note. Real photos show how to hold the ukulele, press the strings and strum. Each lesson has a hands-on check - you pass when you play it right. SONGS YOU WILL PLAY The More We Get Together, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Happy Birthday, Amazing Grace, Silent Night, Auld Lang Syne, Mary Had a Little Lamb, Lightly Row, London Bridge, Ode to Joy, Row Row Row Your Boat, and Chinese folk songs such as Jasmine Flower.
