About

AltLog

AltLog is a one-tap elevation logger. It reads the barometric pressure sensor built into your iPhone — the same chip that powers Apple's Floors Climbed metric — and turns it into a live tally of metres climbed, metres descended, and stair-equivalents. There is no GPS. None. AltLog never asks for your location, and the pressure sensor uses far less power than GPS. WHEN IT WORKS • Inside parking garages, multi-story buildings, and stairwells where GPS is useless. • On hiking trails when you want a low-power supplement to your map app. • In elevators — yes, you can verify the "23rd floor" sign matches what the sensor saw. • Anywhere there is air. (Sealed pressurised vehicles excepted — physics, not us.) HOW TO USE 1. Tap Start before a walk, hike, or staircase climb. 2. Watch the ascent and descent tally grow as you climb. 3. Tap Stop when you're done. The session lands in History with an altitude profile. WHAT YOU GET • Live cumulative ascent in metres and stair-equivalents (1 stair = 0.20 m). • Cumulative descent — useful for trail running and post-climb verification. • An altitude profile chart per session you can scroll through later. FREE AND PRO Recording sessions is free, and your three most recent sessions are always there. AltLog Pro, a one-time in-app purchase, unlocks your full session history. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No cloud. No ads, no tracking. Pressure samples are processed on-device and discarded; only a downsampled session summary is stored on your iPhone. Deleting the app removes everything.

Know your elevation, distance, and climb on every drive, hike, walk, run, or ride. Zenith tracks your altitude in real time as you move — then logs every track with its high, low, net gain, total climb, and a full elevation profile. GLANCE, DON'T UNLOCK A Live Activity keeps your current elevation, trend, and climb on the Lock Screen while you move, so you never open the app just to check your altitude. • Lives in the Dynamic Island too • Mirrors to CarPlay and the Apple Watch Smart Stack • Current elevation, high, low, and climb at a glance PRECISE BY DESIGN Zenith fuses the barometric altimeter's responsiveness with GPS's absolute accuracy, so your current elevation reacts instantly without drifting. • Live current-elevation readout, updated as you move • High, low, net gain, total climb, average, distance, and duration • Keeps recording in the background while your phone's in your pocket • Smart idle auto-stop that always confirms — it never ends a track silently FIND YOUR WAY BACK Slide the map up mid-track and watch your route draw itself behind you. A heading marker shows which way you're facing and a compass gives you the bearing, so retracing your steps means turning around and following the line back to the flag. • Your route drawn live, from the start flag to right now • Heading marker and compass bearing for backtracking • Heading-up mode turns the map as you turn • Street or satellite, with your elevation still on screen EVERY CLIMB, IN DETAIL Open any track for its full elevation profile and the peak Zenith reached. Scrub the chart to trace your position on a route map drawn over real terrain. • Scrub-to-trace elevation chart, by distance or time • Track history with rollups: total distance, total climb, and your highest point ever • A warm, glanceable design that adapts to light and dark • Feet and miles or meters and kilometers FREE TO TRACK Real-time elevation tracking, the Live Activity and Dynamic Island, and your recent track history never cost a thing. ZENITH PRO One purchase unlocks the automatic, connected, and unlimited extras — starting with a 7-day free trial: • Automatic activity detection — Zenith knows when you're hiking, walking, running, riding, or driving, and labels each track for you • Live map with compass — see your route as it happens and find your way back • Route maps traced on real terrain, linked to the elevation profile • Apple Health export — hikes, walks, runs, and rides saved as workouts with route, distance, and elevation gain (drives stay in the app) • Apple Watch app with live heart rate — start, watch, and end tracks from your wrist • Unlimited track history Two ways to buy Pro, and either grants every feature. Zenith Pro Yearly is an auto-renewing subscription: 1 year for $9.99 per year, starting with a 7-day free trial. It renews at $9.99/year unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and you can manage or cancel it anytime in your Apple Account settings. Zenith Pro Lifetime is a one-time $24.99 purchase — not a subscription, nothing renews. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Zenith reads elevation on-device — your tracks stay on your iPhone unless you export them to Apple Health. Move. Glance.
