New: Progress Pics. Front, side and back on the same mark every time. Encrypted on your iPhone, synced only through your own iCloud, never on our servers. Reps is the workout tracker for every Apple screen โ iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV. Most trackers make you fight a spreadsheet mid-set. Reps keeps the workout view quiet: plan the session, log each set in two taps, and let the progression engine decide what's next. THE PROGRESSION ENGINE Reps ships the actual math other apps hide behind "add weight when it feels easy": double progression, effort gates, comeback ramps after time off, and stall resets after three failed sessions. You always know why the next session asks what it asks. EVERY APPLE SCREEN โข iPhone: plan, log, review โ the whole gym flow โข Apple Watch: your day's sets on your wrist, logged in a tap โข Apple TV: your session on the living-room screen while you train, plus an optional viewer for your progress photos โข iPad + Mac: review progress, adjust the plan โข Widgets: today's session at a glance โข Dynamic Island + Lock Screen: your rest timer without unlocking PROGRESS PICS Stand on the mark, line up with the ghost of your last photo, and a hands-free shutter takes the shot. Front, side and back, lined up month after month. Reps encrypts your photos on your iPhone and keeps the vault behind Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode. Optional sync stores them in your private iCloud database, protected by Apple's encryption: sync never sends a photo to our servers, and Reps never adds one to your Photos library on its own. Keep them on this iPhone only if you prefer. Turn on Show on Apple TV and an Apple TV on the same iCloud account shows them too, you against a blurred backdrop: hold Select to reveal, press Back or Menu to hide. The TV cannot take photos or change your iCloud originals. PRIVACY, PLAINLY Your workout log is stored on your devices and can sync through your own iCloud account; progress photos sync only when you turn that on. Reps has no sign-in and no ads, and no photo ever goes to our servers. Erase all progress photos removes them from this iPhone and asks iCloud to delete its copy, once you type ERASE to confirm; if iCloud is unreachable, that part finishes when it is back. BUILT TO STAY OUT OF YOUR WAY โข Two-tap set logging, effort ratings when you want them โข Apple Health integration โ lift days in context โข Antagonist paired-set support for superset training โข No Reps account and no ads. Cloud AI planning sends training context to your selected provider when you request a plan. FOR THE TERMINAL PEOPLE Reps ships an MCP server and a CLI โ ask your training log questions from Claude or your own tools. REPS PRO Your first 3 workouts are on us. From there, Reps Pro adds AI planning hosted by Reps โ a subscription. Everything else in Reps stays free. AI planning, hosted by Reps โ no API key needed. Ask for any program; the plan adapts as you train. Everything else in Reps is free. US$7.99/month or US$49.99/year, local pricing shown in the app, auto-renewable. Payment charged to your Apple Account; renews unless canceled 24h before period end; manage in Account settings. A gym tracker that runs on your Apple Watch. Tap the ring to log a set and the rest timer starts by itself, so your phone stays in your bag for the whole session. TabSet does not plan your workouts. You already know what you are doing. It counts your sets, times your rest, remembers what you lifted, and tells you what to load on the bar. Free for 14 days. Then one purchase, and that is the end of it. No subscription, ever. THE WORKOUT RUNS ON YOUR WRIST Most trackers put the watch app second. TabSet puts it first. Your routine is on the watch, so the phone stays in your bag for the whole session. - Tap once to bank a set. The rest timer starts on its own. - Two rings you never have to decode: the outer one is always the clock, the inner one is always the count. - Live heart rate, calories, and a heart-rate zone bar along the bottom. - Swipe up to switch exercise mid-set when someone is on the machine you wanted. - Swipe down to undo a set you logged by mistake. - A complication on your watch face, so training starts in one tap. MORE THAN SETS AND REPS A strength session is rarely all barbell work, so warm-ups and conditioning are first-class here, not an afterthought. - Sets: sets by reps, with weight, the way you already train. - Duration: one timed block for a warm-up, a stretch, or steady cardio. It counts down and finishes itself. - Intervals: HIIT work and recovery rounds that say "speed up" and "slow down" out loud, with haptics, so you never look down to catch the switch. KNOW WHAT TO LOAD - Plate calculator: for barbell lifts, TabSet shows exactly what to load per side. Set the bar weight once and the breakdown appears on the watch. - Your working weight carries forward. What you lifted last session is already filled in next time, so progressive overload takes no data entry. - Rest is set per exercise, so heavy squats can rest three minutes while curls rest sixty seconds inside the same routine. BUILD ROUTINES ON IPHONE OR IPAD - More than 80 built-in exercises covering barbell, dumbbell, cable, machine and bodyweight work, plus any you add yourself. - Six built-in training days to start from, or build your own from scratch. - Order a training day however you like, then start it from the watch in one tap. - Import and export whole multi-week programs as JSON, so a plan can be shared or backed up. YOUR DATA IS YOURS - No account. No sign-up, no password, no server, because there is nothing to sign in to. - History with per-exercise weight charts, time in your heart-rate zones, and logged sets you can still edit afterwards. - Export your training log as CSV or as a JSON backup, and import it back. - Finished workouts save to Apple Health, so they close your Move and Exercise rings and show up in Fitness. PAY ONCE Free for 14 days with nothing held back and nothing to cancel. If you keep it, you buy it once. There is no higher tier, no pro version, and no feature waiting behind a monthly fee. Every future update is included. WHAT TABSET IS NOT Some of this will rule it out for you, and it is better to know now. - Not a workout planner. It will not write your program or tell you what to train today. - Not a coach. No form tips, no nudges, no motivational notifications. - Not a social network. No feed, no followers, no leaderboards. - Not a nutrition app. No macros, no meal plans, no barcode scanner. - Not a cloud service. Your training lives on your devices, not on a server. If you want an app to decide your training for you, there are good ones. TabSet assumes the deciding is already done.

Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: 941 Reps at every 4 days against TabSet's every 3 weeks. 941 Reps also leads on device support (5 vs 3). TabSet's advantage is iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
