NewTake is made for videos where you talk to the camera — vlogs, explainers, stories, updates. It cuts the rambling, false starts and dead air, adds captions, and hands you a tight video people actually watch. Your footage never leaves your phone. Pick a video where you talk (or several takes) and NewTake's on-device AI splits it into scenes, listens to what's said, and recommends what to keep and what to cut. You review every decision with a tap, then save a tight, watchable video straight to your camera roll. CAPTIONS THAT READ THEMSELVES • Every word appears right on beat — the active word lights up as you speak (or choose Classic, with the key word highlighted) • Fix any line in place: the player jumps to that exact moment while you type • Captions burn in exactly as previewed — what you see is what exports AN EDITOR THAT CUTS THE PARTS YOU'D CUT • Said "wait, let me start over"? The AI trims the false start — shown crossed out, one tap to bring back • Cut any spoken line yourself, right from the captions panel • Review each scene — green keeps, red cuts, you're always in control HOW IT WORKS • Pick clips from your photo library — even multiple takes of the same moment • On-device AI detects scenes, transcribes speech, and scores visual quality • Add background music that automatically quiets when you talk — or let the AI pick the track • Export to your camera roll and see exactly how many minutes you saved • Not sure yet? Try it on the built-in sample video first — no footage needed PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your video and audio are processed on your iPhone and are never uploaded. To make an AI edit, the app asks your permission first, then sends the text of what you say, any story you type, and clip details (length, date and camera) to AI services from Google, Microsoft and DeepInfra. WHY PEOPLE USE IT • Vloggers and creators who ramble before getting to the point • Explainers, tutorials and updates that need to be half as long • Anyone who wants captioned, postable talking videos without a desktop editor NEWTAKE PRO The free plan includes 3 AI-edited videos each month, with full preview of captions and music. Saving is free; NewTake Pro adds: • Captions and soundtrack on every export • Unlimited videos, no credits (fair-use policy applies) • $6.99/month, or $29.99/year Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled in your App Store settings. The time lands in the photo the moment you shoot. No more typing a time into a photo after the fact. Tap the shutter and the time, date and address are burned into the shot, and it goes straight to your album. [No review screen. Done in 3 seconds.] - Shutter to saved in one move. Nothing stops to ask "Save this?". - It lands in your album, so you can send it straight on from there. - Hold the shutter to record video instead (up to 2 seconds). The stamp is burned into video too. - Pick the frame: 4:3, 16:9, 1:1 or full screen. [What gets stamped] - The time, the date, and the address of where you are. - Add a line of your own, up to 30 characters, like "Open for business" (Nowshot Pro). - Text color is white or black, and the stamp stays where you dragged it on the next shot. - The time zone follows your device. [Photos you already took] - Import them in the gallery and each one is stamped with its real capture time, not the time right now. - A photo with no capture time recorded is skipped. - Press and hold the stamp to move it, drag a corner to resize it. [Gallery] - Your shots are sorted by date automatically. - Select several and share or delete them at once, up to 30 photos per share. [Location] - The address is worked out on your device. Coordinates and addresses never leave it. - Turn location down and the time is still stamped. - Whether the coordinates stay in the photo file (EXIF GPS) is a switch in Settings. [Free for good] Taking and saving photos stays free. On the free plan a NOWSHOT logo goes in the corner of your photos and videos, and a banner ad shows in the gallery. [Nowshot Pro] - The NOWSHOT logo leaves your photos and videos. - Your own note on the stamp, in any text color you like. - No ads in the gallery. Plans - Nowshot Pro Monthly — $2.99, renews every month - Nowshot Pro Yearly — $12.99, renews every year, with a 7-day free trial where the store offers one - Nowshot Pro Lifetime — $24.99, paid once, nothing renews A subscription renews at the same price unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the period ends. Cancel any time under App Store account > Subscriptions, and you keep the rest of the period you paid for.
