Palkie Talkie vs Flipbase

Speak a second language the way you speak your first. In your first language, when a friend tells you about her week, you say exactly what you think of it, and on the way out you are the one who says "I'm so glad we did this." In Spanish, all that comes out is "Ya veo." Everybody understands you, and nobody knows you. You know what you mean. You just don't have the line, and a line is only yours once you've said it out loud. Palkie Talkie is an AI conversation coach you talk to out loud. Most AI waits for you to ask it something. This one asks you. The more you talk, the more of your life it knows, and it goes where it knows least, so you keep saying things you have never said in this language before. WHY PALKIE TALKIE • IT ASKS ABOUT YOU. The coach learns the people in your life, your plans and how they connect, and asks about what it has not heard yet. No "how can I help you today?" • THE NATURAL WAY TO SAY IT. Say something the long way round and it hands back how a native speaker would say it, without stopping the conversation to correct your grammar. • NO BOOKING, NO CAMERA. Open the app, tap Start, talk. On your drive, walking the dog, while you cook, at the gym. • TOPICS WHEN YOU WANT THEM. Today's news, dating, movies, anime, cooking, and work moments like a job interview or the point you never got to make in a meeting. Tap one and the coach starts there. • PICK UP HOW YOUR FAVORITE CHARACTER TALKS. The dad with a dumber idea for everything, the sharp tongue who calls your bluff, the icy boss who never says it twice, the spy who charms you and more, each with opinions of its own. Or write your own. • START FROM ZERO. Complete beginner? Your coach teaches in your own language, one phrase at a time. • SET THE PACE. Ask the coach to slow down and it does, right in the conversation. • SEE YOUR PROGRESS. Your streak, talking minutes, vocabulary, speaking rate and the mistakes you keep making, conversation by conversation. • LET YOUR OWN AI READ IT. Every conversation is saved to a folder you choose on iCloud Drive or Google Drive, so ChatGPT or whichever AI you use can read back what you said. WHO IT'S FOR Anyone who wants to speak, from a first word to the line that tells someone what they mean to you. For whoever gets through the day just fine, and still has no close friend in the language. PRIVACY Your conversations are stored under your account to power the personalization. You can export everything or delete it any time from More, Privacy & Data. PRICING Palkie Talkie is free to start: 10 minutes of conversation per day and 30 minutes per week. When you want more, go unlimited with an Individual plan, or cover up to six people on one bill with a Family plan, monthly or yearly. Current prices are shown on this page and in the app. Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled; manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.
