Sudoku meets murder mystery puzzles. Murder Sudoku: Tiny Crimes turns whodunit mysteries into bite-sized logic puzzles. Every case gives you a grid of rooms, a victim, a handful of suspects, and a set of clues. Use deduction to work out where everyone was at the moment of the murder. The rules are simple, the cases are not. No two people can share a row or column, every clue is true, and there is exactly one correct solution. Solve the board and the mystery resolves itself: the suspect left alone with the victim is your culprit. No guessing. No luck. Just clues, logic, and a quiet little crime waiting to be cracked. FEATURES - Sudoku-style row and column deduction, reimagined as detective work - Cozy, hand-illustrated crime scenes full of suspects, rooms, and props - Endless cases, from gentle warm-ups to fiendish expert whodunits - Competitive leaderboards to race other detectives - Pencil notes to track your theories as the case comes together - Pure logic puzzles, every case solvable by reasoning alone - Short, satisfying sessions perfect for a coffee break or a commute - Play fully offline, anywhere - One-time purchase to remove ads. No subscriptions, ever If you love whodunit mysteries, detective games, logic grids, brain teasers, or a clever Sudoku variant, Tiny Crimes hands you a fresh case to crack one clue at a time. Follow the clues. Place the suspects. Find the killer. Can you crack every case?
Chromata
Read full descriptionHide full description
Chromata is a logic puzzle where you never guess — you prove. One secret code. Five colors. Three statements a turn, of which you pick only one — and its answer teaches you as much when it is false as when it is true. HOW IT PLAYS Each turn, three statements are offered to you, with no verdict attached. "Iris is greater than Cobalt." "The sum of Sulphur and Amber is less than 5." You pick one. Only then does the game reveal whether it is true or false. And that is the whole point. If "Iris > Cobalt" is false, then Iris ≤ Cobalt: you have learned exactly as much. There is no bad draw, no luck to suffer — only reasoning that is more or less efficient. Cross out impossible values on the grid, cross-reference, narrow it down. When one candidate is left, submit it. A BREAK MADE OF ATTENTION No endless feed, no autoplaying video, no banner blinking to keep you here. Chromata asks for the exact opposite of scrolling: a few minutes of continuous attention, a line of reasoning held from start to finish, and the very distinct satisfaction of having worked something out instead of having consumed it. A game lasts two to ten minutes. It plays in silence, offline, on a commute or in a quiet room. WHAT'S INSIDE • 3, 4 or 5-color codes — up to 3,125 possible combinations • Three difficulties, which change the nature of the clues served, not just their number • Eight families of statements: comparisons, sums, orderings, counts, positions, membership • A fully interactive elimination grid — your scratchpad, right on screen • Jokers, for when a game closes in on you • Divination mode: reroll a triplet of statements at the cost of points • Timed mode: reasoning under pressure, with a speed bonus under one minute • Full history: every game can be replayed, statement by statement, verdict by verdict • Seven ranks to climb, from Greyness to Divine Lagoon • English and French, interface and statements alike • No ads, no account, no data collection, no connection required FULL VERSION The game installs and plays for free: 3-color codes, easy and normal difficulty, unlimited games, tutorial included. A single purchase — never a subscription — unlocks 4 and 5-color codes, hard mode and timed mode.

Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Chromata at none against Murder Sudoku's shown. Murder Sudoku's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months) and device support (3 vs 1). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
