"Scan your Wi-Fi and every device comes back with a real name instead of an IP address. Tap any one to see what it's actually running. Nothing you find ever leaves your device. It usually starts with a router page full of numbers and one smart plug that has stopped answering. Working out which line is which shouldn't take an evening. Smart Home Playground Analyzer does it in seconds, and then goes a good deal further. WHAT IT DOES Deep network scan — sweep your local network and find everything on it. Smart home gear, speakers, TVs, wearables, laptops, and the two or three things you forgot you owned. Names, not numbers — on-device AI recognizes the hardware on your Wi-Fi and gives it a name you'll actually recognize. Device Inspector — tap any device for the full picture. Who made it, what services it's got open, which protocols and ports it's using, and how it reaches your network. Smart Home Inspector Report — a readable summary of your whole network, from media capabilities through to Matter fabric analysis. Reads in 13 languages. Protocol tagging — the app asks each device what it speaks and labels it: Matter, Thread, AirPlay, Cast, mDNS, Bonjour. Built natively for iPhone, iPad and Mac in Swift. Scan from the couch, dig into the details at your desk. CONTROL, AND WHAT THAT MEANS HERE Two specific things, and it's worth being straight about the limits up front. Cast playback — play, pause, skip and change volume on your Cast-enabled speakers and displays. On iPhone and iPad, a Live Activity keeps the controls on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island while something's playing. On Mac, they appear in Control Center's Now Playing and on your media keys while the app is open. That's the whole of it. This isn't a universal remote. It won't talk to your TV over infrared, and it doesn't do Roku, Fire TV or a cable box. If that's what you need, there are excellent apps out there that do it. IT FITS INTO YOUR DEVICE PROPERLY Spotlight — the devices you discover get indexed locally, so you can search a device name from the Home Screen and land straight on it. Siri and Shortcuts — App Intents let you run a scan, check what's online, or control playback by voice or inside your own automations. WHO THIS IS FOR The person whose smart plug dropped off the network and can't work out why. The IT professional who'd rather audit an unfamiliar network in five minutes than an afternoon. And anyone who's simply curious about what's going on in their own house. ABOUT PRIVACY No accounts. No analytics. No server anywhere. Every scan and every bit of AI identification happens on the device in your hands, and the results stay there. Your home network is nobody's business but yours, and the app is built to keep it that way. Take control of your smart home with a tool made by the curious, for the curious. Something broken or missing? Get in touch — every message gets read."

Your smart home runs on a mesh you can't see. Threadlytics measures it. Thread routers promote and demote themselves, devices sleep and wake, links strengthen and fade — and when something says "No Response," most apps just show you a list. Threadlytics is the instrument: it reads the diagnostics your Matter and Thread devices already publish and turns them into grades, maps, and answers. It complements the Home app; it does not replace it. WHAT IT MEASURES • Mesh health, graded — border-router coverage, routing depth, link quality, and partition state resolved into plain-language grades instead of raw counters. • Per-device health scores — stability, reachability, and CSA certification, each with the evidence behind it. • Topology you can walk — an interactive network map in 2D and 3D, a hierarchy tree, the fabrics your devices belong to, and the full protocol path for any single device. • Weak links — which device drops frames to which neighbor, and at what signal strength, so you know what to move. • Border routers as first-class devices — your HomePods, Apple TVs, and hubs appear with their Thread role, so you can see who is actually carrying your mesh. ONE DEVICE, ONE IDENTITY The same physical device shows up under a different name in every app you own. Threadlytics matches records across Apple Home, Matter, Home Assistant, and SmartThings using stable hardware identifiers — never name guessing — so your device list shows your devices, not your ecosystems' copies of them. Anything it cannot match with confidence stays separate, and the app says so. ASK ABOUT YOUR OWN HOUSE The built-in assistant runs on your device and answers only from your latest scan — not from the internet, and not from a guess about smart homes in general. When an answer uses your home data it says so, and it names the devices it drew on. (Requires an iPhone or iPad that supports Apple Intelligence.) SIRI & SHORTCUTS "What needs attention in Threadlytics?" Ask Siri for your home health score, the devices needing attention, or what changed since your last scan — without opening the app. In the Shortcuts app, your devices are first-class objects with score, grade, reachability, and transport. PRIVATE BY ARCHITECTURE No account. No sign-up. Analysis happens on your device and your data stays there. Apple Home, Thread, and Matter work entirely locally; Home Assistant and SmartThings are opt-in enhancements you can ignore forever. Local-only mode is a first-class mode, not a setting buried three screens deep. Exports are yours: CSV, JSON, and Markdown, with an Anonymize switch for sharing. THREADLYTICS PREMIUM (optional subscription) The free app is complete: scanning, grades, maps, correlation, the assistant, and data exports. Premium adds Home History — score trends, saved snapshots, and a "what changed" feed beyond the free 7-day window — plus network exports (the map as an image, the Tree and Fabrics pages as reports) and priority support. First month free; cancel anytime in your App Store settings. Works with the devices you already own — no hub, no extra hardware, nothing to buy. Requires iOS 26 or later. Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Privacy Policy: https://seering.ai/privacy Threadlytics is an independent product of Seering LLC and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple, the Connectivity Standards Alliance, the Thread Group, or any device maker.
