Need a plumber tonight, a dentist this week, or a part that's actually in stock? Tell Aurora once. It calls local businesses for you and comes back with real answers. Aurora is an AI assistant that makes the phone calls you don't have time for. Finding a plumber at 9pm usually means ten calls, three voicemails and a callback that never comes. Aurora rings local services at the same time, asks about price, availability and stock, and gives you a ranked shortlist in minutes instead of an afternoon on hold. EVERY ANSWER COMES WITH PROOF Each result includes the call recording and transcript: who Aurora spoke to, when, and exactly what they said. Play it back and check the quote yourself. WHY PEOPLE SWITCH TO AURORA • It calls any business on the map, not only the pros who paid to appear in a directory • No posting a job and waiting for strangers to bid, or asking the neighbors next door for a name • It runs in the background: start a request, put your phone down, come back to a shortlist • Change the plan mid-search: "Open past 8?" "Under $200?" Aurora adjusts on the next call HOME REPAIR AND HANDYMAN JOBS A burst pipe, a lockout, an AC that quits in July or a furnace that dies in January. Aurora asks plumbers and plumbing services, HVAC and AC repair companies, locksmiths and electricians who can come today and what the call-out fee is. For smaller fixes it finds a handyman for drywall patches, leaky taps or any task on your home repair list, and it gets quotes for roof repair and tree removal too. HOUSE CLEANING AND MAID SERVICE Book a weekly housekeeper, compare maid service prices, or line up deep cleaning before guests arrive. Aurora checks local cleaners and house cleaning services for price, supplies and the first open slot, including move-out, carpet and window cleaning and regular home cleaning. MOVING, CONTRACTORS AND EVENTS Get moving quotes from local movers and moving helpers, estimates from renovation contractors and carpenters for that home improvement project, and lawn care for the yard. Planning a party or wedding? Aurora calls catering, wedding vendors and AV rental companies. APPOINTMENTS AND EVERYDAY ERRANDS Find the earliest dentist opening, a vet visit this week, a walk-in doctor, a salon or groomer slot, or an auto body or auto repair shop. If an errand needs a phone call, Aurora can make it. IN-STOCK CHECKS AND BUSINESS SOURCING Ask who has noise-cancelling headphones or other electronics, sneakers in your size or a car part in stock nearby. For work, Aurora collects prices on bulk supplies, wholesale pricing and vendor quotes. HOW IT WORKS • Ask in plain English: "Emergency plumber in Brooklyn tonight" or "Deep clean for a 2-bedroom on Saturday, under $250" • Aurora asks a quick follow-up if it needs one, then finds the right local services nearby • It calls them all at once and asks the questions you would ask, with live progress • You get ranked options with prices, times and call recordings you can share with family or a roommate WHAT YOU GET BACK • Quotes side by side • Who can come today, and when • What each price includes FOR ANYONE WHO WOULD RATHER NOT MAKE THE CALL Busy at work, deaf or hard of hearing, or simply done with hold music: Aurora handles the conversation and gives you the answer in writing. YOUR DETAILS STAY PRIVATE Aurora shares only what a business needs to answer your question. Your name and number are shared only when you ask Aurora to book or reserve something for you. GOOD TO KNOW • Aurora finds and compares local businesses. It doesn't employ or dispatch workers, so you decide who to hire • Aurora is not a medical service and doesn't give medical advice • Businesses are called during opening hours; late-night requests are queued until morning EARLY ACCESS Aurora is in early access. Download and join the waitlist, or skip it with an invite from a friend who already uses Aurora. Questions or feedback: support@aurorax.co

Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Aurora AI at none against DripOCR's shown. Aurora AI also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). DripOCR's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
