About

BPM Checker

Features

Find the BPM of any song, instantly. BPM Checker listens to the music playing around you and tells you its tempo in beats per minute - no tapping along, no typing, no account. Just tap Listen and point your phone at the speaker. WHAT IT'S FOR - DJs matching and beatmatching tracks - Producers and musicians checking a reference tempo - Dancers and instructors finding the count of a song - Runners and gym-goers picking music at the right pace - Anyone curious how fast a track really is HOW IT WORKS Real-time detection runs entirely on your device using the microphone. Play a song out loud, tap Listen, and the tempo appears within a few seconds, with a confidence reading so you know how solid it is. PRIVATE BY DESIGN The audio is analysed live on your iPhone and is never recorded, saved, or sent anywhere. FREE BPM Checker is free, supported by a small banner ad. Note: because the app hears music through the microphone, it works best when the song plays out loud in the room, not through headphones.
