About

PawTrial

Features

PawTrial guides you through your dog's elimination food trial from day one to the final report — the food allergy diet tracker built for the trial your veterinarian prescribed. Is your dog itching, licking paws, scratching ears, or having tummy trouble? When your vet recommends an elimination diet — a hydrolyzed or novel-protein food trial — the hardest part is consistency: every meal, every treat, every slip-up matters for 8 to 12 weeks. PawTrial keeps you on track and turns weeks of scattered observations into one clear record your veterinarian can actually use. TRACK SYMPTOMS IN SECONDS • Quick daily check-in: score itching, paw licking, ear symptoms, skin, and digestion from 0–10 • Add notes about food, behavior, and anything unusual • Your first week becomes a baseline, so later changes are meaningful • Optional daily reminder at a time you choose, so check-ins become a habit SEE PROGRESS CLEARLY • Today dashboard: trial day, days remaining, and the itching trend at a glance • Diet compliance tracker shows clean days versus slip-up days • One timeline gathers every check-in, food exposure, treatment, and photo • Progress photos: document skin, ears, and paws over time and compare changes side by side BUILT FOR REAL LIFE • Log accidental food exposures the moment they happen • Track medications and treatments, including doses, alongside the trial • Curious first? Explore the whole app instantly with built-in sample data SHARE WITH YOUR VET A clear report summarizes symptom trends, diet compliance, exposures, and treatments — prepared for veterinary review, so appointments start with facts instead of memory. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your dog's health data stays on your device. No account, no sign-up, no cloud database, no ads, and no tracking. Data leaves your phone only when you choose to share a report. Delete everything at any time from Settings. PAWTRIAL PRO (optional upgrade) • Veterinarian-ready PDF report, plus CSV and JSON export • Structured ingredient reintroduction workflow for challenge testing after the elimination phase • Multiple dogs, each with their own trials, photos, and reports • Unlimited progress photos and full trial history with archived trials • Advanced charts Pro is available as a monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. The free version includes daily check-ins, the dashboard, timeline, exposure and treatment logging, reminders, five photos, and the on-screen report. WHO IT'S FOR Dog owners working through suspected food allergies or food sensitivities — itchy skin, paw licking, recurring ear issues, or digestive upset — under the guidance of a veterinarian or veterinary dermatologist. Useful from the first "let's try a diet trial" conversation to the follow-up visit. PawTrial records and organizes the observations you make. It does not diagnose allergies, identify allergens, or replace veterinary advice. Always work with your veterinarian. Subscription Terms Payment will be charged to your Apple ID upon purchase confirmation. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
