"Think analog, save digital." ThoughtTrace is a seamless tool to digitally save and organize the deep thoughts you've written down with pen and paper. Some ideas are only born when you freely move a pen across a blank sheet of paper, rather than typing on a keyboard. ThoughtTrace maximizes this "handwritten thought process" and securely manages your notes afterward. ◆ 3 Core Features of ThoughtTrace ◆ 1. "Intelligent Timer" for Deep Thinking Place your iPhone or iPad on the corner of your desk and set the focus timer. Setting a time limit flips the switch in your brain to "just write." 2. "High-Quality Continuous Scan" for Handwritten Notes Once you finish writing, simply point the app's camera. It automatically detects document edges, removes hand shadows and wrinkles, and instantly converts your notes into crisp, highly legible black-and-white data. You can also continuously scan multiple pages without closing the camera. 3. Reflect and Organize (Folders, Tags, PDF Export) Beautifully organize your scanned notes using folders and tags. Look back on the trajectory of your thoughts through a chronological timeline. You can also combine multiple notes and export them as a single PDF (*Pro feature). ◆ Privacy First ◆ All your ideas and notes are saved strictly on your device. They are never sent to external servers, allowing you to write down your thoughts with complete peace of mind. *The free version has a daily limit on the number of scans. Upgrade to the Pro version with a one-time purchase to unlock "Unlimited Saves," "No Ads," and the "PDF Export" feature. A note-taking tool that blends "simple writing" with "intelligent cross-device sync". Copy a piece of text on your Mac, and when you pick up your iPad or iPhone, the note has already been automatically created or appended to your current content — no manual pasting needed. This happens only when you actively enable sync and the app is in the foreground, protecting your privacy. 1. Cross-Device Clipboard Once enabled, any text copied from your Mac silently generates a note on your iOS device or appends to an existing one, with precise insertion modes (top/bottom, with timestamp, blank line separation). Turn on "Show floating sync button" and "Show floating paste mode button" — the buttons are movable. The floating sync button lets you quickly switch between different auto-access clipboard modes, and the floating paste mode button lets you switch between different paste modes rapidly. 2. Waterfall Reading Scroll to the bottom and automatically switch to the next note — no need to frequently return to the list. Combined with over ten carefully tuned reading themes (eye-care warm, dark quiet reading, soft green background…) and full-screen stepless font size adjustment, global line spacing, margin adjustment, and scrollbar visibility, it makes long reading a pleasure. 3. Efficient Organization Multi-level folders, multi-level categories, move, duplicate, trash recovery… Whether scattered inspirations or long-form writing, everything stays organized. 4. Completely Local, Privacy Protected All notes are stored only in the on-device SwiftData database. The app makes no network requests, and embeds no analytics or advertising SDKs. Clipboard access occurs only when you actively enable sync and the app is in the foreground; the first access requires system permission. Every word belongs only to you. 5. Multiple Gestures Swipe left to delete into trash, swipe right to copy to clipboard. You can set tap to copy to clipboard, double-tap to preview, and pinch to enter or exit full-screen immersive mode — natural and smooth. 6. Merge & Split Merge and split: supports multiple merge styles (timestamp, reversible merge, etc.). When splitting, you can choose to keep markers, sort, add numbering, and more. 7. Full-Text Modification Insert blank lines, remove blank lines, add numbering, insert timestamps, or append merge markers to an entire note — with real-time preview. 8. Import & Export Data backup, data import, data merge, import folder, export folder, import into folder, and more. An app that "streams" your Mac clipboard into notes, while fully respecting your privacy. The entire process is based on Apple's Universal Clipboard and system Handoff, protecting your privacy and running only in the foreground with your permission.
