WeeKL vs Yours

WeeKL is a calmer way to write to the people you care about. Letters do not open right away. You write during the week, and they arrive on Sunday morning at 8. That little wait takes the pressure out of replying and gives your words a softer place to land. Send a letter to one friend, write with a group, or add a photo like a small postcard. When a letter arrives, you can search it later, mute notifications, block when needed, and keep an automatic backup on your device so old letters stay readable after moving to a new phone. Use WeeKL when a message feels too quick, but a letter feels just right.

The thing you most wanted to say usually slips past the fast window. A message arrives before you have finished thinking it, and it weighs about as much as the second it took. Thank you, I am sorry, I miss you. Those get carried off at the same speed as everything else. Yours is the place kept aside for them. You write with your own hand, straight onto the screen. Nothing is typed. The shake in your letters stays. So does the place you stopped, and the line you crossed out. What the other person opens is not a finished paragraph. It is the way your hand moved. WHAT YOU MEAN TAKES TIME TO ARRIVE The moment you press the seal and drop it in the box, the letter is on the road. It does not appear straight away. Someone carries it the rest of the way, until it reaches their morning. For as long as that takes, a letter is standing between the two of you. You think your words over once more. They go about a day without knowing yet. That waiting is part of the letter. THE DAYS THAT ASK FOR MORE THAN A MESSAGE Birthdays, anniversaries, the day you first met, an exam passed, a new job, a move, someone getting better. Some days are too shy to say out loud and too big for a chat window. · Choose the day it should land. Write tonight so it reaches them on their birthday morning. · Choose design sets for birthdays, thank you, love, congratulations, get well, friendship and more. Purchasing a set unlocks its included postcards, envelopes, letter paper and stamp designs together. THEY DO NOT NEED THE APP Hand them a link and they watch the letter being written, right in their browser. Every letter also carries a short code. If they get Yours later, that code puts the letter into their own mailbox to keep. THE PLAZA Pin a handwritten letter on the Plaza for anyone to read. Follow the writers who move you, and write back to start a conversation. Turn on a private account and only the people you accept can read your letters. COLORING The letter paper, envelopes and postcards are drawn in black ink, and you can color them in with a finger or Apple Pencil. Flip a postcard over to color the picture on the front. The color sits under the lines and your handwriting writes itself out on top. Coloring is free for everyone. HOW IT GOES 1. Choose your paper or a postcard 2. Write by hand, and color it in if you like 3. Fold it, put it in the envelope, press the wax seal 4. Address it, affix a stamp, drop it in the slot 5. It sets off STAMPS One letter takes one stamp. One comes with your P.O. Box when you open it. You can earn more by watching an ad, or buy a book of them at the post office. YOURS PLUS Choose a 1-month, 3-month or 6-month auto-renewable subscription. Send letters without stamps, unlock all paid designs and enjoy an ad-free experience.
