Penna vs Ruema

Requires a Pro subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. New users can start with a free trial. Penna is the ADHD planner that shows you time: your day as a visual board, a countdown for the task you're on, and AI that runs on your iPhone. 100% offline, no account, no one watching. SEE TIME (new in 1.4) • Estimated duration on every tile — 15, 30, 45, 60 min or your own • A countdown ring on the task you're doing right now • Countdown widget on the Home and Lock Screen: what's now, what's next, how long is left • Morning check-in in 3 taps: your energy today → a day that fits it • Start with a free trial ON-DEVICE AI (Apple Intelligence) • Magic Breakdown — a big scary task becomes 3–7 tiny first steps, each under 15 minutes • Organize — your Brain Dump sorts itself into tiles with dates and tags, you approve every change • Smart input understands "call mom tomorrow evening" — in English and Russian AI runs entirely on your iPhone. No cloud, no account — Data Not Collected stays true. Requires iPhone 15 Pro or newer with Apple Intelligence; everything else works on any iPhone with iOS 18. Most planners want your email and your data. Penna wants neither. Everything lives on your device. Your backups are encrypted and yours to keep. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • 100% offline — no account, no servers, no ads, no trackers • Data Not Collected — nothing leaves your device • Face ID lock on individual notes • AES-256 encrypted backups • Export to Markdown, JSON, PDF or calendar (.ics) PLAN VISUALLY • Snap-grid board — arrange note tiles in any cell, like icons on a home screen • Drag tiles between days on a collapsible week/month calendar • Timeline view for hour-by-hour day blocking CAPTURE THE WAY YOU THINK • Brain Dump — drop a thought in one tap, schedule it later • Smart text input — type “call mom tomorrow 6pm” and Penna sets the day and reminder • Checklists, photos, file attachments, tags, 10 colors STAY ON TRACK • Reminders with repeat (daily/weekly/monthly) and snooze • Habits grid with daily streak · Pomodoro focus timer • Home-screen & Lock Screen widget · Share extension PENNA PRO • Unlimited notes, Brain Dump and attachments • Repeating reminders and calendar events on your board • iCloud Sync — your data stays in YOUR private iCloud; we never see it Penna Pro: a yearly subscription, a weekly subscription with a 3-day free trial, or a one-time lifetime unlock. You will forget the garage code. The paint color. Where you put the passport. Which restaurant your wife loved in Sedona. Ruema will not. Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Privacy Policy: https://ruemaapp.com/privacy.html TELL IT ONCE Tap the orb. Speak for five seconds. That is the entire ritual. "My blue binder is in the garage cabinet." "The Wi-Fi password is BlueSky." "My dentist appointment is August 8." It is kept. You are done. ASK HOWEVER YOU WANT You do not have to remember the words you used. You just have to ask. Type it, or tap the mic and say it out loud. Six months later you ask: "Where are my important documents?" You never said the word "documents." Ruema still answers: your blue binder is in the garage cabinet. That is not keyword search. That is understanding. THE ARK Some memories are not for everyone. Codes. Passwords. The things you whisper. The Ark is a protected space locked with Face ID or your passcode. When you save something sensitive, Ruema offers the Ark on its own. One tap, and it is behind the gate. INVISIBLE BURDEN There is a kind of weight no one sees. The permission slip. The thing your kid said you need to follow up on. The thought that hits at 2am with nowhere to go. Invisible Burden is a space for every thought that does not need a day. Drop it. Get it out of your head. Know it is safe. When a thought becomes a plan, hold it and drag it onto any day. Your mental load finally has a place. THE VAULT Your passwords, behind Face ID. Every visit requires your face. Leave the app for a second and it locks itself. Powered by Apple Keychain encryption, the same technology Apple uses in its own Passwords app. End to end encrypted. We cannot read them. Apple cannot read them. TODAY Plan 30 days ahead. Create your own categories, add notes to any task, drag things between days, and check them off with a satisfying beat. Everything you finish lives in the Harvest. KAIROS The Greek word for the appointed time. Open any task and tap Kairos. Pick your minutes. The screen goes quiet, a gold ring closes around the time, and your phone buzzes when you are done. No streaks. No guilt. No leaderboard. Just you, one task, and a clean line between working and not working. SHARE WHAT MATTERS Your son asks for the garage code. Long-press the memory, tap Share, text it to him. Done in five seconds. And when someone asks what app you are using, tap Share Ruema on the home screen. NOTHING TO ORGANIZE. EVER. No folders. No tags. No inbox to clear. No system to maintain. Ruema sorts everything quietly in the background so you never have to think about where something went. You only have to ask. HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT KNOWS Ruema tells you how confident it is. "I am 95% confident." Or "this might be it." Or, when it truly does not know, it says so instead of guessing. A memory you cannot trust is worse than no memory at all. PRIVACY IS THE PRODUCT Your voice is transcribed on your iPhone. Audio is never uploaded and never stored. Your memories live in encrypted storage, synced privately through your iCloud account. We do not have a copy. When you ask a question, only the few memories relevant to that question are sent to generate an answer. Never your whole life. No ads. No tracking. Nothing sold. Not ever. BEAUTIFUL, AND OUT OF THE WAY One glowing orb. One question. That is the whole app. It launches instantly. It works offline. It never nags, never gamifies, never begs for your attention. FREE TO START Save up to 50 memories. Ten tasks in Today with 30 days of planning. Ten AI recalls. The Ark, Invisible Burden, the Harvest, and Numbers, all unlimited. Free is not a trial. Free is genuinely useful. RUEMA PLUS Unlimited memories. Unlimited AI recall. Unlimited tasks. Unlimited categories. The Vault for your passwords. Kairos, your focus timer. $4.99 per month, or $39.99 per year. Tell it once. Never worry again.
