Write 39 characters. Make your own font. Or start with a photo of your handwriting. TappyType, also known as EasyFont (이지폰트), turns your handwriting into fonts on iPhone and iPad. Write with Apple Pencil or your finger, choose a photo from your library, or capture handwritten Korean with the camera. AI uses your samples to fill a set of 2,350 Hangul syllables. Start with a handwriting photo Bring in writing from a notebook or paper without rewriting a fixed set of 39 characters in a template. Review the recognized characters and their cropped regions. Correct labels, adjust regions, exclude unwanted samples, or select a region to add a character. Write 39 starter characters Write the 39 starter Hangul characters and let AI fill the rest. Choose whether your original writing or the AI result takes priority for the starter characters. Edit individual characters to refine your font. Try your font before exporting Type a sentence in live preview to see your style as you work. Use the A4 preview to compare longer text and weights, then save or share an image. Make postcards with your font, too. These previews and postcards are free. Use your font in other apps Export a .ttf file in Light, Regular, or Bold, or follow the guide to install your font on iPhone or iPad. Download the font profile in the app, then complete installation in Settings > General > VPN & Device Management. Your font can be selected in apps that support user-installed fonts. It does not change the system-wide iOS font. Write your way Place the character list on either side, and work in an iPad window that adapts as you resize it. Use lasso selection, Apple Pencil-only input, and adjustable pressure. For handwritten Hangul projects, choose 2,350 common syllables or all 11,172. Does AI generate letters, numbers, and symbols? AI generation covers the 2,350-syllable Hangul set. To use your handwriting for Latin letters, numbers, and symbols, write them yourself. The app explains this before generation and provides a shortcut to write missing characters before export. What makes a good photo? Use clear photos of handwritten Korean and check the recognized characters and regions. If samples are sparse or unclear, add photos or continue with the confirmed samples. Output quality depends on image clarity and the amount and variety of handwriting provided. Use your own handwriting or material you have permission to use. What is free? Writing, photo import and capture, AI generation, live preview, A4 preview, and postcards are free. A one-time in-app purchase unlocks TTF export and device installation. How are photos and fonts processed? Original photos are analyzed on your device. For photo-based font creation, only confirmed character crops are sent to the AI server after your consent; full original photos are not uploaded. For device installation, the completed font is sent to a server to sign its installation profile. AI generation and profile signing require an internet connection.

Lingua is where you make a language and then actually use it. YOUR SCRIPT Draw each letter with your finger. Lingua compiles your letters into a real font on your phone, and gives you a keyboard with your letters on the keys to type with in the app. You can also build keyboards of any existing characters (accented letters, IPA, symbols, other scripts) and use them in any app, free and as many as you like. Alphabet, abjad, syllabary, abugida or logography, written in any direction. Digits are letters too, in whatever base you choose. YOUR LANGUAGE A dictionary where every word has meanings, part of speech, examples, register and origin. Readings and IPA. A phonology page built from what you have written. A grammar of 44 chapters — cases, agreement, word order, negation, questions, derivation — whose rules really conjugate: describe a pattern once and every word in that class follows it. A calendar with your own month and weekday names, a notebook, and CSV import for a list you already have. A PLACE TO USE IT A timeline where people post lines in their own languages, in their own letters. Each post carries its letter shapes with it, so anyone can read your script without your font, and every post has a gloss so people can follow and reply even to a language nobody else speaks yet. Replies and threads, following, tags, a daily prompt everyone answers in their language, photos with your letters drawn on them, a 30-second voice clip, and a card that turns one line into a picture to share. Publish your language's page, and download the alphabet or dictionary of a language you like, to read. FREE AND PAID Free: a full a–z and 0–9 script, one language, a dictionary of 100 words, as many keyboards as you like, and the whole timeline. Plus and Pro add more letters, more words and more languages. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
