Klondike solitaire the way you remember it: green felt, real cards, and your choice of Draw 1 or Draw 3. Win a game, earn coins, and choose a new Theme: a table and card back made to match. Solitaire: Classic Deal is the familiar game, built properly for iPhone and iPad. Tap or drag, build each suit from Ace to King, and watch the cards bounce down the screen when the last one lands. Your game saves itself, so you can put it down mid-deal and pick it up later. Try 100+ Endgames: short draw-one puzzles with a board already in play. Finish in as few moves as you can, and match par without hints to earn three stars. Tap the trophy to start; your main game stays saved. On iPhone Duo The table fills the screen on both displays. On the outer display the controls sit in the system column along the edge, so the cards keep the rest of the table to themselves. Open the phone, close it or turn it and the board re-lays out around the space it is given - same game, same cards, no restart. What you get - Draw 1 and Draw 3, switchable any time - A Daily Deal: one new deal every day, every one winnable, and a calendar that turns gold as you solve them - A winnable-deals option that sends deals through a solver before you play them - Tap or drag, whichever you prefer - Hints to point out a legal move: three free every deal, one back every three minutes, and three more for coins or an optional video - Undo to take a move back - Finish to run out a board once every card is face up - Themes, first in the Store: a painted table and card back made to match, tried on your own game before you choose - Eleven tables and twenty-one card backs, with two more painted Themes arriving in December - Levels bring Navy, Walnut and Burgundy tables and card backs - Daily medals: bronze and silver earn experience; gold brings an item you do not own or more experience - Seasonal events that run a few weeks at a time: play their levels to earn the event's table and card back, which are never sold - Coins come from winning; packs are there if you want more - Premium subscription: the Premium Themes, double coins on every win, unlimited hints, and the game stays ad-free while subscribed - Personal stats for wins, scores, best time and winning streaks - Game Center leaderboards for Draw 1, Draw 3 and fastest win, plus achievements - The bouncing-card celebration, which respects Reduce Motion - Built for iPhone and iPad, portrait or landscape Coins are earned by playing or bought in packs. They have no cash value, and Themes, tables, card backs, celebrations and hints are the only things they buy. Free to play, with ads: full-screen ads can appear between moves during a game and after wins or recorded losses. Optional reward videos are yours to choose. An active Premium subscription removes every ad. Whether you call it Solitaire, Klondike or Patience, it is the same good game, dealt clean. Premium subscriptions Choose $1.99 monthly or $9.99 annually (US prices; local prices are shown before purchase). No free trial. Payment is charged at confirmation, and the subscription renews automatically unless canceled before the next renewal. Manage or cancel in your App Store account settings. Verdict
The clearest difference is ratings volume: Solitaire at 123 against Solitaire's 1. Solitaire's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Solitaire sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Solitaire sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Solitaire holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Solitaire has 123 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
Solitaire ships an update weekly, Solitaire every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
