Rad! You made it, and just in the nick of time. There’s, like, bright stuff everywhere. The Void has been disturbed, flux loops have appeared all around, and the dark matter is being drowned. I’ve trapped the charges you need in our remaining dark crystals; use them to cancel these fluxes. It’s up to you to bring back the Void! VoidFlux is an electrostatics puzzle dressed up as a neon crystal toy from the 80s. Loops of light strung across a crystal hexagon of dark matter, each carrying a number, its flux, that the dark matter needs gone, and charged crystal gems below: teal for positive, pink for negative, one burning core per quantum of charge. Use each crystal, bring each loop to zero flux, and bring back the Void. Between rounds there is Wittgenstein’s Tractatus retold in 80s arcade slang, shipping in nine languages, English, Polish, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Italian, Danish, and Latin, because an 80s Tractatus without a Latin edition would be rude. Three color-blind-friendly palettes. Game Center keeps a leaderboard and 25 achievements with their own neon artwork, and progress follows you between iPhone and iPad over iCloud. No ads. No in-app purchases. Just You, the Void, and a radical synthwave soundtrack.

A letter arrives. Albert needs your help finding his missing son, Gabriel. As an archaeologist, you have the expertise required to decipher the clues left behind. But when you arrive, the mystery deepens: Albert is missing, too. Albert, Ingrid, and Gabriel were a family of scientists who spent years isolated in an abandoned castle, researching the near-magical crystals hidden within its walls. Driven by ambition rather than caution, Albert constructed a machine with power far beyond their control. It was a harsh reminder that some inventions are better left unmade. Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Fragment Zero at 4.9 against Void Flux's 4.3. Fragment Zero also leads on ratings volume (108 vs 6) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 days). Void Flux's advantage is device support (5 vs 3) and price ($2.99 vs $3.99). On review sentiment, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Void Flux costs $2.99 and Fragment Zero $3.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Fragment Zero holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fragment Zero has 108 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Void Flux's written reviews are positive against 99% of Fragment Zero's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Void Flux ships an update every 5 days, Fragment Zero every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
