Matchday Tournament Maker
Read full descriptionHide full description
Make it matchday. Create your own football tournament, share the fixtures and keep every result in one clear place. FOR SUNDAY LEAGUES, SCHOOL CUPS AND FIVE-A-SIDE Add 2–32 teams, choose round robin or knockout, set your first kickoff and generate the schedule. Matchday handles odd team counts and knockout byes automatically. FIXTURES WITHOUT THE ADMIN Set match lengths and breaks for a single-pitch schedule. Change individual kickoffs when plans change. Rename teams and choose their colours. A SCOREBOARD FOR YOUR TOUCHLINE Add goals, run the count-up match clock, then save the final result. The clock keeps track of elapsed time when you leave the screen or reopen the app. TABLES AND BRACKETS THAT UPDATE WITH RESULTS League tables use three points for a win and one for a draw, with goal difference and goals scored as tiebreaks. Knockout winners advance automatically. For drawn knockout matches, choose the tiebreak winner. Correcting an earlier result clears affected later results so the bracket stays consistent. SHARE THE MATCHDAY PLAN Send fixtures and results through the iOS share sheet as text or CSV. Teams receive a readable copy; shared files are snapshots rather than live collaboration. YOUR TOURNAMENTS, ON YOUR DEVICE The organizer works offline without an account. Archive completed competitions, restore them later and see the next fixture in a Home Screen widget. Tournament data is saved locally with a previous-save recovery copy. It does not sync between devices. Bracket Maker & Round Robin

Turn a list of players into a bracket or a round-robin schedule, keep score live, and share the results. Built for the person running the event, not for a league office. WHAT YOU CAN RUN • Single elimination: correct byes for any number of entrants, seeds you set and reorder yourself, never randomized behind your back. • Double elimination: losers drop to the right spot in the lower bracket, every time. • Round robin: everyone plays everyone, odd numbers handled with byes, standings updated as scores come in. • Rotating-partner mixer: partners rotate each round, courts are assigned for you, and the schedule balances games and sit-outs. • Live score sheet: tap in scores from the sideline; the bracket and standings update instantly. • Shareable results: export the finished bracket or table as an image and send it to the group chat. MADE FOR ORGANIZERS • Type, paste or scan a player list, review the names, choose a format and set the rules. No account required. Works offline. • Light and dark appearance for different playing conditions. • Celebrate final placements or announce results one place at a time. • Both members of a team are shown everywhere, including in round-robin schedules. • Edit a result after the fact and everything downstream recalculates. • Works for pickleball, padel, tennis, table tennis, darts, cornhole, pool, volleyball, football, esports, board games, office competitions and anything else with a winner. STRAIGHT ABOUT PRICING The free tier and its limit are shown on the very first screen, before you enter a single player. If your event fits, it is free. Larger events and PDF export are unlocked with an optional subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase; the price is shown in the app before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID account settings. Verdict

What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.

Both are free to download. Matchday Tournament Maker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Bracket Maker & Round Robin sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
