Your flight, from the moment you leave the house to the baggage belt at your destination. Every aircraft beautifully presented in the map. Avoid the constant hunt for info screens at the airport. Gate, times and changes are right on your phone, and the app tells you when something changes. At Avinor's airports in Norway, gate and baggage belt come from the same source as the screens in the hall. If something goes wrong, it keeps constant track of what you are entitled to, and guides you through claiming it with ease. MY FLIGHT • Search a flight number, a route or an airline, and add it as My Flight. • Gate, terminal, check-in desk and times on one card, with a Live Activity and a Lock Screen widget. • Notifications you choose: go to gate, gate change, delay, boarding, gate closing, cancellation and baggage on the belt. Worked out on your iPhone, with no account. • Leaving from a Norwegian airport: the expected security wait, and the reclaim belt when you land. WHEN THE FLIGHT GOES WRONG • Delayed or cancelled: what changed, and when the app last checked. • Your rights on that route, in plain language. EU261, UK261 and the national rules of 18 more countries, including Canada, the United States, Brazil, Türkiye and India. • A claim letter to the airline, filled in from what the app already knows. It opens in your own mail app and goes to the airline's own published address. We fill in the form. We are not a claims agency, and we take no fee and no cut. • Where to complain on that route, when the airline says no. • Damaged or delayed bag: the deadline that applies to you, the nearest service desk on the airport map, and every detail the airline's form asks for, ready to paste. BAGGAGE • Published allowances and fees for more than 100 airlines, by fare type: cabin bag, checked bags, extra pieces and overweight. • Allowances also depend on your ticket and status. The app says so, every time. AIRPORTS • Departures and arrivals for any airport you search or tap. • At Norwegian and Nordic airports: gate, belt, check-in desk and live status from Avinor's official feed. • Airport maps with surveyed gates and stands, and a walking estimate to your gate in distance and minutes. One tap hands over to Apple Maps. It is an estimate, not indoor turn-by-turn. LIVE RADAR • Live aircraft on a calm map, worldwide. • Tap a plane: a rendered aircraft in the airline's own colors where we have them, real photos credited to the photographer, the route, and schedule and gate. • Aircraft in view: every aircraft on screen as a list, with a page for each type. • Overhead: what is passing above you right now. • Live precipitation radar over the map. PRIVACY No ads. No account. No tracking. Your location centers the map and measures the walk to your gate. Your exact position never leaves your device. SUBSCRIPTION AirwayControl requires a subscription. One auto-renewable subscription unlocks the whole app. New subscribers get a 7-day free trial; after that it renews monthly at the price shown in the App Store for your country. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when the free trial ends. The subscription renews automatically every month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in Settings. Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Privacy Policy: https://airwaycontrol.intelsystems.ai/privacy HONEST LIMITS Aircraft positions work worldwide; refresh rate depends on receiver coverage. Gate, belt, check-in desk and security wait are deepest at Nordic airports; elsewhere you get boards, gate and terminal where published, and the live map. Rights information is information, not legal advice. Live data needs a connection. CREDITS Full credits for data, maps and photos: airwaycontrol.intelsystems.ai/credits

A window seat, somewhere over the world. A river shines below, then a lake, a town you have never heard of, a mountain in the snow. FlyETA shows you where you are: your place in the sky, on a 3D map of the whole planet, with the names of what you see and the time you land. FlyETA is an offline flight tracker and in-flight map for passengers. It runs from your own phone's GPS, in airplane mode. The whole planet is already inside the app, so it works with no cabin Wi-Fi and no download at all. WHAT IS DOWN THERE Look out, find it on the globe and read its name. Towns, lakes, rivers, peaks with their heights, borders and the countries under you are named as you fly over them, from more than 470,000 places that come with the app. Mountains, valleys and coasts are drawn in 3D. With a connection before you fly, FlyETA can add sharper terrain for your route. WHEN YOU LAND Your arrival time, the time to go and the distance to go. You see them on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island too. On routes with recent flights, the forecast follows the past flight most like yours: FlyETA collects these flights every day from open flight-tracking data, and loads your route's when you set up the flight with a connection. Without them it uses a general flight model, which cannot see wind or holding. THE VIEW Follow the airplane from behind, circle around it, or pinch in to the cockpit and look out at the wing, its engines turning and its lights flashing. Contrails at cruise height, and the stars and the Milky Way when you zoom out into space. The globe stops drawing when nothing moves, to save your battery. KEEP EVERY FLIGHT Tap Start following and FlyETA records the flight, with the screen locked too. After you land: - Find it in History and replay it at home, up to 300x - Collect a stamp for every airport and a page for every country in your Passport - Add a flight you took but did not record; it replays as a labelled simulation - Keep every recording as a readable file in the Files app FOR THE CURIOUS Altitude above sea level, ground speed and vertical speed from your phone's GPS, cabin pressure altitude, a turbulence reading, and GPS tools with every accuracy figure. Metric, imperial or aviation units, in 10 languages. TRY IT ON THE GROUND Pick any two of more than 4,000 airports and tap Simulate to watch the flight on the globe. A simulation is labelled Simulated, and values only a phone in the air can measure show "--". HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT SEES Position, height and speed come from your phone's own GPS, not from the aircraft, and a window seat gives it a better view of the sky. FlyETA follows the flight you are on: it shows no gates, delays or other aircraft. When it does not know a value, it shows "--" instead of a guess. FREE, AND YOURS Every feature is free: no ads, no account, no in-app purchases, no subscription and no limit on flights. FlyETA never sends your position and uploads no flight. With a connection it sends only what its lookups need: a flight number you type, your route's two airport codes, the map squares the route crosses, and the app and system version. In airplane mode it sends nothing. REQUIREMENTS iPhone 15 or newer, or an iPad with an A13 chip or newer, on iOS 26 or iPadOS 26 or newer. Live following needs GPS: an iPhone or iPad Wi-Fi + Cellular. A Wi-Fi-only iPad can simulate and replay flights. FlyETA is a personal project by Nick Bubelich. He loves to fly, and on every flight he wanted to know what was down there and when he would land.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: FlyETA at none against AirwayControl's 1. AirwayControl's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
