Take the guesswork out of pet care. BestForMyPet analyzes your dog or cat's unique health profile, symptoms, and breed to surface scientifically-backed food and supplement recommendations — all in one elegant, easy-to-use app. Whether you're troubleshooting a symptom like a dull coat, low energy, or digestive upset, or you simply want breed-specific guidance for a new puppy or kitten, BestForMyPet turns pet food research into a few taps. WHAT YOU CAN DO Symptom & Breed-Based Recommendations Enter signs you're seeing — digestive issues, dull coat, low energy, and more — or search by breed alone to see curated food and supplement matches, including guidance on breed-specific risk factors. Real Cost to Feed See an estimated real-world monthly cost to feed for every recommended food, calculated from your pet's actual daily portion — then compare two or more foods side by side to see which one is actually more affordable before you buy. Ingredient Change Alerts We keep watching every food you're currently feeding. If the manufacturer changes the recipe or sources ingredients from a different country, you'll see it on your dashboard — with an exact ingredient-by-ingredient breakdown of what was added, removed, and unchanged — before you buy the same bag again. Recall Alerts If a food you're feeding is ever the subject of a public safety recall, BestForMyPet matches it automatically against official recall notices (by UPC and product name) and shows you the reason, lot numbers, and source — so you find out here, not from the news. Custom Nutrition Tracking Log meals and feeding schedules, monitor dietary transitions, track daily caloric intake, and watch health trends over time. Dynamic Pet Profiles Manage every dog and cat in your household from one centralized dashboard, each with its own medical history and dietary needs. Find a Store Locate real pet nutrition specialty stores near you and save a preferred store for faster reordering. AI Nutrition Consult Ask follow-up questions about your pet's food history, feeding schedule, and weight trends, and get personalized answers grounded in your pet's actual data. BestForMyPet is an informational platform designed to help you have better, more informed conversations about your pet's nutrition — it is not a substitute for veterinary care. Food suggestions and AI-generated content are based on publicly available data and user-submitted information; always consult a licensed veterinarian before changing your pet's diet or starting a new supplement. Estimated feeding costs are calculated from publicly available pricing data and are approximate — actual prices vary by retailer and location. Recall matching relies on publicly published recall notices and may not catch every recall; it is not a substitute for checking official recall sources directly. Download BestForMyPet today and bring a little more science to your dog or cat's next bowl.

Keep track of your vitamins and supplements: what’s due, what you’ve taken, and what comes next. Dosion brings your daily schedule, reminders, and intake history together on your iPhone. YOUR ROUTINE, CLEARLY ORGANIZED • See upcoming, taken, skipped, and missed doses at a glance. • Set intake times, reminders, cycles, and planned breaks. • Log the actual time of a late dose or record why you skipped it. • Add a supplement just for today without creating a recurring schedule. NOW ON APPLE WATCH Log doses as taken, skip or undo them, and record check-ins from your wrist. Review your routine by Morning, Day, and Evening. With Pro, see nutrient upper-limit summaries and spending for today, 7 days, and 30 days. After the first sync, cached data stays available and offline actions sync when your iPhone is reachable. PAUSE WHEN YOU NEED A BREAK Pause a supplement for a number of days, until a date, or until you resume it from Stack. Paused days stay out of due doses, reminders, widgets, and adherence counts. Mark doses Taken or Skip directly from intake notifications; completed reminders clear automatically. ADD YOUR SUPPLEMENTS YOUR WAY Scan a barcode or photograph a label, search the library, or enter details yourself. Keep your supplement list, serving amounts, and timing in one place. Review scanned details before saving. SEE YOUR NUTRIENT TOTALS For supported nutrients, compare intake with published reference values and view upper-limit checks when editing your routine. References include NIH ODS, EFSA, and NASEM. Coverage depends on available ingredient data; these checks do not assess every supplement or interaction. NOTICE PATTERNS OVER TIME Record how you feel with quick check-ins for mood, energy, focus, stress, and symptoms. Explore possible associations between your supplement routine and, with Pro, optional Apple Health data. Patterns need enough logged data and show associations, not proof of cause and effect. BUILT AROUND YOUR PRIVACY Core tracking works offline. Start in Guest mode without creating an account. Pattern analysis runs on your device, and Apple Health data is not sent to Dosion servers. Optional iCloud sync uses your Apple account to sync your routine, logs, check-ins, and profile. Export or delete your data from Settings. START FREE. EXPAND WITH PRO. Free includes up to 5 active supplements, 3 reminders per day, and 14 days of history. It also includes a limited Personal Library, Patterns, food searches, and stack sharing. Dosion Pro adds a larger supplement list, full history, deeper nutrient views and Patterns, inventory and spending tracking, home-screen widgets, and unlimited reminders. It also enables optional logging of supported nutrients to Apple Health. Monthly and annual subscriptions are available. Add your first supplement and make today’s routine easier to follow. Verdict
The clearest difference is ratings volume: BestForMyPet at 5 against Dosion's 1. BestForMyPet also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. BestForMyPet sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $125.99 per month and Dosion sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for BestForMyPet against 5.0 for Dosion. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BestForMyPet has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
BestForMyPet ships an update every 2 weeks, Dosion every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
