GASSI vs Park Playdates

GASSI-O is the app for everyone who loves being out and about with their dog. See at a glance which dogs are walking nearby, whether they are up for saying hello — and arrange your next walk together. LIVE RADAR The map shows dogs around you in real time. Others never see your exact position, only an approximate one along with distance. YOUR STATUS One tap tells others how you are out today: • Happy to meet – your dog wants to play • On the leash – you are walking on lead • No contact – you would rather have a quiet walk Other owners can see your status and be considerate. TRACK YOUR WALKS Start recording and GASSI-O tracks your route via GPS: distance, duration, pace and calories burned. Collect badges, keep your streak going and see in your stats how much you have been out this week. REPORT HAZARDS Poisoned bait, broken glass or an aggressive dog? Report it in seconds and every owner nearby gets a warning. That is how the community looks out for each other. EVENTS & GROUPS Find dog meetups, walks and training sessions near you, or create your own events. Groups keep you in touch with other owners. ENCOUNTERS Every encounter is saved to your history, so you can see which dogs you meet regularly. GASSI-O PREMIUM Premium gets more out of the app: • 300 m radius instead of 100 m • Friend alert: get notified when a favourite dog is nearby • Favourites for the dogs you like best • History filters by date, size, breed and status • Walk Stats Pro with pace analysis, record streak and monthly comparison • Create as many events as you like – ideal for dog trainers and clubs • Unlimited encounter history Premium is available as a monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time Lifetime purchase. PRIVACY Your location is only transmitted while the app is running, and the transmission stops on its own once you stay in one place for a while. No movement profile is created. You can delete your account completely in the app at any time. IMPORTANT Hazard reports and status information come from other users and are not editorially reviewed. Always pay attention to your surroundings and your dog while walking. Make the plan. Skip the coordination. Park Playdates makes it easy to turn “want to meet up?” into a real plan without turning every meetup into a long group-chat thread. Choose a park, playground, or dog park, pick a time, invite the right people, and keep every RSVP and update attached to the plan. A PLAN IN A FEW TAPS • Find nearby parks, playgrounds, and dog parks, or search by name or address. • Save favorite places and quickly reuse recent spots. • Pick Today, Tomorrow, or a future date. • Use quick time options when the plan is spontaneous. INVITE THE RIGHT PEOPLE • Invite individual friends or reusable friend groups. • See Going, Maybe, and Can’t go at a glance. • Share a playdate invitation link when you need it. KEEP EVERYONE ON THE SAME PAGE • See exactly what changed when a plan is updated. • Keep lightweight chat attached to the playdate. • Add a plan to your calendar or open directions. • Get useful notifications for plans, responses, and relevant updates. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Park Playdates has no public feed, no stranger discovery, and no live or background location tracking. Nearby search uses your location only when needed to find places. Park Playdates is designed for adults coordinating plans. We do not create child profiles or store children’s names or ages. Free to use. Make the plan. Go play.
