MimiCam vs Posey

Stop taking dozens of almost-right photos. MimiCam turns the photos you love into a simple guide inside your camera. Choose a reference and use it directly over the live camera view to match the pose, angle, framing, and distance before you take the shot. Think of it as photo shadowing: a semi-transparent reference helps you follow the original composition while the camera is open. HOW IT WORKS Choose a photo from a curated collection or add your own reference. Open the camera and use the semi-transparent image as your visual guide. Match the pose, angle, framing, and composition. Capture the photo with more confidence and fewer retakes. MADE FOR BETTER PHOTO MOMENTS • Live reference overlay, see the shot you want while taking it. • Pose and angle guidance. Understand where to stand, how to frame the photo, and what to do with your body and hands. • Curated collections. Find inspiration for city walks, beach days, portraits, outfits, and more. • Your own references. Import photos you have saved for later. • Custom collections. Organize ideas for trips, locations, looks, or content shoots. • Simple camera experience. Focus on the photo instead of complicated controls. MimiCam is helpful whether a friend or partner is taking the photo, or you are setting up the shot yourself. It gives both the person posing and the person behind the camera a clear visual target. Spend less time explaining the shot. Take fewer random attempts. Get closer to the photo you imagined. MimiCam Premium unlocks unlimited references, personal photo imports, and custom collections. "I don't have to explain the photo I want anymore." You know the photo you want. You found it — a travel pose, an outfit shot, a couple picture. But when you hand your phone to a friend (or your partner), you get… something else. Posey fixes that. Save the photo you want to recreate, and Posey overlays it — semi-transparent — right on the live camera. Whoever's holding your phone just lines up the ghost image and taps the shutter. Same angle. Same crop. Same vibe. HOW IT WORKS • Save your shot ideas — import from your photo library, crop to frame • Tap Match — your reference floats over the live camera • The frame auto-matches your reference's aspect ratio (4:5, 1:1, 9:16 and more) • One control: overlay opacity. No zoom, no fiddling, never technical • Shoot, then drag to compare your photo against the reference • Save straight to your photo library — Photo, Live Photo, or Video BUILT FOR • Travel photos that look like the ones that inspired the trip • Outfit shots and mirror pics with consistent framing • Couples — finally, a fair trade for taking their photos • Content creators keeping a series visually consistent PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No tracking. No analytics. Your references and photos stay on your device — and sync privately through your own iCloud if you want them on all your devices.
