Build a tech company from a one-room garage to a global empire — one device at a time. Silicon is a premium business simulation and tycoon game. You don't just watch numbers tick — you DESIGN the products, BUILD the factory that makes them, and RUN the company that sells them. Found a startup, ship something great, crush your rivals, take it public, and rule the industry. DESIGN EVERY DEVICE Customize phones, tablets, laptops, consoles, monitors and AR glasses from the inside out — chip, display, battery, materials, camera array, finish and color — and watch each one render live in a crisp vector preview. Every choice moves your cost, your margin, and how the market reacts. Form matters too: a striking design sells. BUILD A REAL FACTORY Factory Mode is a living 3D production line you build yourself. Lay conveyor belts, place and upgrade machines, and wire the floor so it builds faster — each device needs the right machines (a phone wants a screen bonder, a laptop a chassis mill). Decorate with props and painted walls, expand the building, and take Side Order commissions to keep the line busy between launches. TIME THE MARKET Consumer taste shifts week by week. Read the trend, price it right, pick the campaign that fits your budget, and find your launch window. The game always tells you WHY a product won or flopped — so every launch teaches you something. MAKE ENEMIES Race a dozen fictional rivals up the live industry leaderboard. One becomes your arch-rival — a living nemesis you clash with again and again. When a rival strikes your category, duel their device head-to-head and answer back. Every year the Silicon Awards judge every launch across Device of the Year, Design and Value — sweep the ceremony or build a grudge. PLAY THE MARKET Trade rival shares, buy a board seat for insider intel, take a controlling stake for a discounted hostile takeover, or acquire a rival outright to absorb its brand, fans and patents. Then take your own company public and beat Wall Street's quarterly earnings expectations. GO GLOBAL License new regions — each with its own taste and market size — then weather regional events: booms to ride, tariffs to answer, and rival surges to defend your standing. RESEARCH THE FRONTIER Develop a deep tech tree over time on a live progress ring — queue your next breakthroughs, commit to research doctrines that give your products identity, and chase Eureka flashes of insight for a jackpot. BUILD A TEAM AND HQ Hire engineers, designers and marketers — each with a specialty, a trait and a mood that moves their output. Senior staff grow into mentors and masters. Watch your real-time 3D headquarters fill with life from garage to campus. FREE TO PLAY. NO DARK PATTERNS. No ads. No timers. No energy. No currencies. No loot boxes. Design devices, read the market and grow your company through the Garage and Growth eras for free, with a fresh seeded challenge every day, fully offline. SILICON PRO An optional subscription opens the rest of the industry: the Platform and AI eras, every scenario, New Game+ and Ascension, the Platform Division, Creative Mode, the Vault and the Device Museum, and the Time Machine that rewinds your company to any of the last five quarters. Monthly or yearly with a free trial, or buy it once with Pro Lifetime. Nothing you can buy changes the simulation in your favour. Found your company. Ship something great. Run the industry. A few hectares of old vines. A harvest weeks away. A bank that wants its money back. Vineyard Director is a real-time strategy game about building a wine estate, from one ripening block and a borrowed press into a house whose best vintage scores 98. The weather decides every year, the fruit waits for no one, and a great wine takes two years to reach the bottle. PICK YOUR REGION Ten of the world's great wine regions, each its own game. The Barossa Valley's century-old Shiraz and a March harvest. Napa Valley's sunshine, tourists and fearsome land prices. Marlborough's Sauvignon Blanc and Mendoza's Malbec under the Andes. Chianti's hillsides, Rioja's Gran Reservas and Bordeaux's en primeur. The Douro's terraces, Champagne's chalk and years on the lees, and the Mosel's slate cliffs and ice wine. Every region has its own grapes, climate, land and traits, and a difficulty from one to five pips. GROW IT Buy or lease parcels, each with its own soil, slope and warmth, and plant the variety that suits it. Prune, spray, work the canopy and thin the crop for quality. Watch for late frosts, hail, heatwaves and mildew, and put frost fans over the pockets where cold air pools. PICK IT The harvest is the moment of the year. Time slows while fruit is ripe. Read the five-day forecast, hire picking crews and queue each parcel at its peak. Pick too early and the wine is thin; wait for rain and the rot sets in. MAKE IT Crush, ferment, and choose steel, used oak or new French oak. The cellar's estimate of every wine narrows as it ages, until The Cellar Report scores it on bottling day. Rent space from the custom-crush winery down the road, then build your own crush pad, tanks, barrel cellar and bottling line. When the tanks fill up, fruit waits in the bins and loses quality. SELL IT Open a tasting room and set your own cellar-door price. Sign distributors, and deliver every month or lose them. Grow a wine club, open guest houses and a restaurant, and ship to importers in five countries. The wine market moves through gluts and booms; the trade will take anything, but cheaply. BUILD A NAME Every score moves your reputation, and reputation moves every price. Win medals at the spring show, convert to organic and then biodynamic, and climb from Garage Winery to Boutique Estate, Established Winery, Renowned House and Icon Estate. HANDLE THE TROUBLE Frost nights, wildfire smoke, wild boar, stuck fermentations, corked bottles, critics in the cellar, film crews and weddings. Every event is a decision with a real cost. WHAT YOU GET - Real-time play with pause, 1x, 2x and 4x speeds - Ten regions, each with its own map, climate, grapes and traits, and four difficulty settings - Five scenarios with goals, deadlines and up to three stars each - Nineteen grape varieties, each with its own climate, ripening and taste for oak - A living estate map: vines that change colour through the seasons, pickers in the rows, weather overhead - Season and vintage reports, and five managers to take routine work off your hands - Several estates at once, each its own save No offline progress, no timers, no ads, no in-app purchases, no account. The estate only runs while you're there.
