Built for the U.S. hurricane coast, from Texas to New England. Landfall turns the National Hurricane Center forecast into your family's hour-by-hour plan — and keeps the stress down while a storm bears down. Landfall requires a subscription — every feature below is included. BUILT AROUND YOUR HOME Tell Landfall about your household once — your address, your home's age and construction, pets, medical needs, an EV, a generator — and everything adapts to you: your tasks, your deadlines, your alerts, your evacuation guidance. No generic checklists. COMPLEX DATA, MADE CALM Landfall reads the forecast so you don't have to refresh six websites. The official cone, the spaghetti models, the watches and warnings — distilled into plain language, one clear number for your address, and one next step. So you can act instead of panic. WHEN A STORM THREATENS • Live NHC tracking: forecast cone, track, watches and warnings on the map • A countdown clock to when tropical-storm winds reach YOUR address • Every prep task gets a real deadline, worked backward from wind arrival — fill the bathtub, fuel the cars, move the EV out of the garage • Lock Screen Live Activity keeps the countdown in sight • Fuel, propane, and EV charging finders near you • In Florida: live shelter status, FL511 road closures, and FPL outage counts BEFORE THE SEASON • Run a practice drill: rehearse the entire countdown in June so October is muscle memory • Document your home room-by-room. On-device AI tags every photo and reads serial numbers — then exports a claim-ready PDF for your insurer • Know your evacuation zone (official zone maps in 12 coastal states, FEMA flood zones everywhere), plus king-tide flood days • A preparedness score that shows exactly what to do next EN ESPAÑOL Landfall habla español — toda la aplicación, incluidas las tareas de preparación y las guías. LANDFALL IS A PAID APP One auto-renewing subscription unlocks every feature above — nothing held back, no upsells inside. Choose $19.99/year after a 3-day free trial for new subscribers, or $4.99/week. Payment is charged to your Apple Account, and the subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings. Privacy Policy: https://builtonthebeach.com/privacy/landfall/ Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS No accounts. No tracking. Photos and AI processing never leave your device. Landfall supplements — never replaces — official warnings from the NWS, NHC, and local emergency management. Always follow evacuation orders.

Earth, right now, on one map. World Live lays the latest data published by public agencies and official sources over a dark world map as points of light. Just watching it tells you where things are happening on the planet. WHAT IT SHOWS - Earthquakes: the last 24 hours (U.S. Geological Survey). Large quakes ripple. - Tsunami bulletins from the NOAA U.S. Tsunami Warning Centers - Hurricanes and tropical storms in the Atlantic and eastern/central Pacific (NOAA National Hurricane Center) - Volcanoes on raised alert in the United States (USGS) - Aurora: the forecast, the Kp index, and a line showing where it may be visible tonight - Wildfires: heat sources seen by satellites in the last 24 hours (NASA FIRMS) - Where the news is: places mentioned most in the world's news, with the tone of the coverage and links to articles (GDELT) - Rocket launches: the next 7 days with countdowns and links to official webcasts (The Space Devs) - Satellites: the International Space Station and others, computed on your device from orbital data (Space-Track.org) - Sun and Moon: the day/night line, the Moon's position and phase (computed on the device) - Live cameras: Shibuya Crossing, Sakurajima and Aso, Kilauea, Monterey Bay Aquarium, a Namib Desert waterhole, Earth from the ISS and more, from the owners' official channels RIGHT NOW One tap sums up what is happening in a few lines: earthquakes in the last 24 hours and the largest, volcanoes on alert, tropical storms, the next launch, aurora activity, where wildfires cluster, where the news is, where the ISS is, and how many live cameras you can watch. Each line comes from the map and opens its details. On supported devices, Apple Intelligence words it naturally, on the device. AUTO TOUR Tap AUTO and the camera flies from one highlight to the next: a large earthquake, a rocket about to lift off, the ISS followed along its orbit. Nothing is shown twice, and the tour ends by itself. Touch the map to stop at any time. TIME MACHINE Tap LIVE to replay the same day one, five or ten years ago: earthquakes, launches, news and aurora. TAP FOR DETAILS Tap a light for its magnitude, time, place and what you can do next (articles, official pages, webcasts). Tap an empty spot for that place's day or night, sunrise and sunset, aurora chances and nearby events. SEE IT FROM THE STREET Live cams in the city, places you tap and more, at street level with Look Around (where imagery exists). SHARE Turn a card into a picture with the map. NOTIFICATIONS AND WIDGET - Today on Earth: once a day, at a time you choose (optional) - Big events: M6+ quakes, tsunami bulletins, strong geomagnetic storms (optional) - Reminders before a launch (optional) - Launch countdown, latest big quake and Kp on your home screen PLEASE NOTE Nothing in this app is an official warning or evacuation notice. Sources update at different intervals and may be delayed or incomplete. For decisions about your safety, follow your local authorities. Each source and its terms are listed in the app's settings. Live camera video plays in each channel's official embedded player; rights stay with their owners. 24-HOUR REPLAY Replays the last 24 hours of earthquakes and more at high speed. Once a day as it is; after that, a short video ad unlocks another replay. PREMIUM (OPTIONAL) - No ads - Unlimited 24-hour replays About the subscription Premium is sold as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly). Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Landfall at none against World Live's shown. World Live's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 6 weeks) and device support (3 vs 1). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
