WBTRK is a complete music studio that fits in your pocket — 18 instruments, a sampler, per-note effects, a full mixer, plug-in hosting and MIDI, wrapped in a fast grid workflow that lets you write whole tracks with your thumbs. WRITE • Compose in a grid: 16-step PHRASES stack into CHAINS, chains arrange into a six-channel SONG — the fastest way to sketch on a phone, deep enough to finish • The radial wheel: long-press any cell and rotate to dial in notes, chords, instruments or effects — it previews as you turn • A chord picker with real harmony — maj7, min7, sus, dim — plus select, copy, paste and transpose for whole sections • Loop channels independently, re-root phrases per bar, and let every channel run at its own tempo while staying locked to one clock SOUND — 18 instruments • Classic synths: pulse, saw, triangle, FM, noise, supersaw pad, sub, pluck, wavetable (draw your own cycle), and MODX — a dual-oscillator synth with a 4-LFO modulation matrix • SAMPLER: record from the mic or import audio; trim, normalize, loop, ping-pong, reverse — or beat-chop at transients and play the slices across the keyboard • A singing robot voice with real lyrics, granular clouds over any recording, and struck modal percussion — marimba, bells, steel pan • An ambient section: DRONE, RESONATOR and TEXTURE — beds, drones and weather • AUv3 HOSTING: play your installed instrument plug-ins from the sequencer, and insert effect plug-ins on any channel SHAPE • 29 effects on any note: delay, two reverbs (one runs to thirty seconds), tempo-synced trance gate and autopan, retrigger, chorus, flanger, ring mod, wavefold, bitcrush, slides, vibrato, arps and more • True stereo instruments — place every oscillator in the field • A full mixer: per-channel volume, pan, mute, solo and plug-in inserts • RANDOM dice that re-roll a note on every hit, tables for instant arpeggios, per-instrument swing and scale lock CONNECT • MIDI in (play and record, step or live), MIDI out and MIDI clock for hardware • Ableton Link keeps you in time with other apps and gear KEEP • Render your track to WAV, share songs as files, your session autosaves • A lock-screen player with cover art drawn in your theme • 27 themes plus a full theme editor — from the clean studio default to full retro, hex numbers included • A built-in demo song that shows the whole studio off Everything runs on your device. About

Wave Slicer

Features

Wave Slicer cuts a sound down to the piece you actually want. Load a track, record something, or send a file to it from anywhere on your phone — then zoom in until you can see the individual samples and cut exactly there. WHAT IT DOES A waveform that stays smooth on a ten-minute file and keeps going down to sample level. Drag the edges of a selection, slide the whole selection along, or draw a new one. Every edge snaps to a zero crossing, so a cut never clicks. A full effect chain that you hear while you turn it. Transpose by semitones, high-pass and low-pass with resonance, tanh saturation, bitcrush and sample rate reduction, echo with feedback, and a reverb that can ring out for eight seconds past the end of the slice. An amplitude envelope you draw by hand. Tap to add a point, drag to move it, bend the curve between two points. The same envelope drawing as the pitch curve in Drum Rack. Fades on both ends, and a loop crossfade that folds the tail over the head so a loop comes round without a seam. Export as a 16 or 24-bit WAV, with TPDF dither on 16-bit. The file lands where you choose to save it, named so you can find it again in a DAW browser. Record straight from the microphone when you want to sample something in the room. Echo cancellation and noise suppression stay off, because those are built for speech and ruin anything worth sampling. Twelve sounds are built in to start with, including two drum loops on the grid, so there is something to cut the moment you open it. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO No account. No sign-in. No advertising. No analytics. No tracking. Audio you load, record or export never leaves your device. The app asks the internet for exactly one thing: a small text file holding the current links shown on the last screen. FROM THE LAB Wave Slicer is part of Lumlux Art Lab, a set of free browser tools for people who make music. The same slicer runs on the website, so you can try it before installing anything. Made in Antwerp by FDR-Sound.
