Finish a book with your ears. Litora turns the books you already own into natural-sounding audiobooks. Import an EPUB or text file and Litora reads it aloud with lifelike cloud voices — including voices that handle Chinese and English in the same book. Listen while you walk, commute, work out, or rest your eyes. WHY LITORA • Your own books — Import EPUB or plain-text files. Litora parses chapters and paragraphs so playback follows the book, sentence by sentence. • Natural cloud voices — Lifelike voices read your book aloud. Pick a different voice per book, including multilingual voices that read Chinese and English without switching apps. • Background & lock screen — Keep listening with the screen off. Control playback from the lock screen and your headphones. • Offline download — Prepare a whole book ahead of time and listen with no signal — on a flight, on the subway, anywhere. • Always in your place — Your position is saved sentence by sentence and synced to your account, so you resume exactly where you left off across devices. • Ask about what you hear — Pause and ask for a plain explanation of a passage, with context that doesn't spoil what's coming next. HOW IT WORKS 1. Import an EPUB or text file. 2. Pick a voice for the book. 3. Press play and listen — lock the screen and go. PRICING New accounts get a free trial allowance. A personal library, ready when you are. Duodecimo brings 1,001 classic works to your iPhone and iPad. Every book and its individual painted cover is included, so you can browse and read offline. No app account, advertising, paid content, or subscription is required. Find a familiar favorite or discover something new across 22 categories. Book introductions, estimated reading times, and curated reading paths help you choose. Continue Reading keeps your current books close, while Want to Read gives the next ones a place of their own. Settle into Book, Scroll, or Study, with fonts, spacing, margins, and appearance choices that suit you. Search the text, mark a page, highlight a passage, and keep your thoughts in a searchable notebook. Return to the source from your notes, export your commonplace book, or make a portable reading backup. Before You Begin offers context for every book. Who Is This Again? helps you recall people you have encountered, with reminders tied to passages you have already reached. These guides are included with the books and work offline, without Apple Intelligence. On compatible devices with Apple Intelligence available, optional passage explanations and recaps use Apple's on-device models. Generated reading help can be inaccurate; the source text is always there to consult. The complete reader and its bundled guides work without these optional features. Listen with Apple's installed system voices, choose a pace, set a sleep timer, and return to your saved listening place. Set an optional daily target, look back over your reading calendar, and use the Continue Reading widget to open your book. The collection uses historical editions in the public domain in the United States. Source, edition, and license details are available in the app. Historical literature may contain mature themes, violence, and language reflecting its time.
