CourseNote vs Noeta

CourseNote is a study workspace for iPhone and iPad. Turn lecture videos, audio recordings, and PDFs into structured study notes with timestamps. You can also record audio directly in CourseNote. Tap a timestamp to jump back to that moment in the source video or recording. WHY COURSENOTE • Turn a long lecture into structured, searchable notes • Import a video or audio file, or record a lecture with your device microphone • Every section has a timestamp — tap it to jump back to the source material • Board writing, formulas, and tables are captured into the notes, not just a raw transcript • Generate self-test questions from your notes and grade them one by one • Ask questions about your notes, find related notes from a photo, and get AI explanations • Annotate directly on your notes with Apple Pencil • Optionally sync notes, folders, PDFs, audio, images, and handwriting across devices with iCloud; videos are excluded HOW IT WORKS 1. Add material: import videos, audio, or PDFs from Files, Photos, or other apps; you can also record audio in CourseNote 2. Process: speech is transcribed, board writing is recognized, and notes are organized by chapter 3. Study: read the notes alongside the source, tap timestamps to review, annotate, ask questions, and test yourself TWO WAYS TO PROCESS • Parsing subscription: enter and validate your own Alibaba Cloud Model Studio (Bailian/DashScope) API key. Model charges are paid by your own Bailian account and no CourseNote credits are deducted. • Pay-as-you-go credits: use the app-managed model service without the parsing subscription. Before each AI task starts, the app shows the estimated credit cost; if processing fails, credits are refunded in full. • One-time credit packs: 280, 900, or 1,600 credits; no recurring credit subscription • Video, audio, and PDF processing, plus photo search, AI explanations, note Q&A, self-test generation, and grading • New accounts include free trial credits PRIVACY • Sign in with Apple — no phone number needed • Content is sent for AI processing only when you start an AI feature and after you consent • iCloud Sync is off by default; when enabled, it uses your personal iCloud storage and does not sync videos • Delete your account and all data from within the app at any time • Data is processed on servers located in mainland China (see Privacy Policy) The app is available in English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. Requires iOS 18.0 or later. AI features require an internet connection. Privacy Policy: https://coursenote.cn/privacy#en Terms of Use: https://coursenote.cn/terms#en

Noeta helps you understand other people, make sense of your relationships, and become more intentional about who you are. Many relationship problems look like communication problems. Often, the harder problem comes first: you do not yet know what is happening, why it keeps happening, or which details matter. Advice based on a single message can only guess. Noeta turns scattered relationship experiences into a living intelligence system that can be tested, corrected, and refined over time. SEE WHAT IS REALLY HAPPENING Record a meeting, conflict, chat screenshot, voice note, or file. Noeta separates facts, feelings, and interpretations, then connects related moments into event threads so you can see how a situation developed. UNDERSTAND THE PERSON — WITHOUT PRETENDING TO READ MINDS Evidence-grounded profiles help you explore what someone may care about, what might be driving their behavior, and which patterns keep repeating. Each insight stays connected to your records and preserves uncertainty instead of presenting guesses as facts. FIND A NEXT STEP THAT FITS YOU Noeta conditions its analysis on three axes: • who you are, what you want, and what you can realistically do • the relationship, including trust, power, and shared interests • the specific situation and your goal right now A conflict with a manager, partner, parent, or direct report should not receive the same generic answer. SEE YOURSELF MORE CLEARLY Across relationships, Noeta helps reveal your own recurring patterns: where you hold back, over-give, avoid conflict, or struggle to express needs. The goal is not another personality label. It is to notice what you are protecting, decide what matters, practice a different choice, and use what happens next to refine your understanding. KNOW. ACT. CHOOSE. Noeta first helps with knowing: what happened and why it may have happened. It then helps you find actions that fit your real capabilities. The final choice remains yours — keep investing, renegotiate, set a boundary, or leave. Noeta is not a personal CRM, a mind-reading tool, or a generic chatbot. It is a continuously growing personal relationship intelligence system. WITH NOETA, YOU CAN: • Capture text, voice, chat screenshots, and files • Organize notes by person and event thread • Build evidence-grounded profiles of others and yourself • Get context-aware analysis, communication guidance, and reply drafts • Record real outcomes and keep refining what the system understands PRIVACY Your notes are stored on your device by default. Before any private content is sent to cloud AI, Noeta identifies the data, recipients and purpose and asks you to allow AI processing or keep notes local. You can revoke access anytime under Me · Privacy & data. See the privacy policy for details.
